WWASP and possible Mass Tort Lawsuit

Anon, I don't have a problem with anybody advocating for children who is sincere.  So far, you have not convinced me that you are as sincere as you are "mad".  Mad at Wwasps who you allege "hurt your kid" and at Carey Bock who you allege "hurt your cause".  What about the parents who still have kids in a Wwasps school or program?  Are you mad at them, too, because they only told you "pretty stories"? What about your own responsibility to do due-dilegence? Were you not aware of the controversy surrounding this organization in recent years or even as far back as 1998 (The David Van Blarigan Story)?  Did you even visit the program BEFORE enrolling your child?  I ask these questions not because I am worried about your credibility, but rather, because you are not, as you point out in your last post.  Since I am not a Wwaspie or one of the Purees, please don't waste your time going down that dead-end road.

What makes you think I'm mad? You're kinda fun ...I just want everyone to be able to share their experience. Some feel damaged. It's important that they continue to be heard.

Did I say WWASP hurt my child? or that I did or did not do a due dillegence look see?

I'm aware of WWASP before David Van Blarigan but his case did bring the first national attention. Maybe he'd like to be heard? Mom and Dad had their say on national tv about how he wouldn't come out of his tree house/etc - don't you  wonder if David loved WWASP?

and why do you care so much..are you employed by WWASP, make referrals for $$, placed your kid, or a defendant in a lawsuit???..in your referrals do you disclose to parents that you're aware of all of the allegations of abuse and encourage them to do due dilligence as you've advised me or do you tell them it's all lies?

as for parents with kids in WWASP /I pity them.

Kids in WWASP/ I feel for them.

Carey I disregard /as I read she's got a mess of her own to attend to and it doesn't seem it was her focus to have kids heard as it is mine.

Hmm, think I got you confused with the other anon on this thread. Sorry about that, my mistake. As for your questions, NO, I don't refer kids into programs or work in the industry.  That's a job for people with no conscience, just a talent for making money off the backs of kids.

Thanks

just curious about those so nervous and demanding proof- when they could just ask their buddies or the law firm representing WWASP

they say that it's been a year and then say May last year -is it May already? some cases take years unless sometimes defendants take actions to settle and silence plaintiffs? - that it seems happens faster -hope that the plaintiffs will not go for that.

So what exactly is being handed out to the victims of this mass tort law suit?  Cash? Post on here (you might not know exactly what the compensation is going to be given in) if it is money or not, I would definitely be interested into reading into that.

Liability for these and future defendants.

Whenever the General Government assumes undelegated powers, its acts are unauthoritative, void, and of no force.

just watched the "Runaway Jury" for any who have not it's a great movie and they definately make the point that if the case (fictional) is won against the gun industry every lawyer in America will be looking for a case to file-

perhaps that will happen with this industry
from the looks of these boards there is no shortage of plaintiffs and complaints abound against a large variety of programs.

Maybe this industry will get some external control....in a way they can understand...

I'll stay tuned..

Little River Band

All penalties for drug users should be dropped...Making drug abuse a crime is useless and even dangerous...Every year we seize more and more drugs but the quantity available still increases...Police are losing the drug battle worldwide.

nothing new just some big boys looking like they're ready to jump in. The quality firms that specialize in this area of mass torts take lots of time to  research ....and it's looking really good- look for an announcement soon...wonder how WWASP would handle a mass tort- does insurance cover it?

when it hits the press it may have some similarites to the Iraq prisioner abuse- people are so outraged about that - imagine how they would react if similar treatments are used on US teens?

Does anyone know if WWASP has insurance?
