HELP NEEDED ASAP
« on: August 06, 2004, 02:31:00 PM »
I am needing HELP ASAP.  I just heard from a victim of Bethel Academy.  This person was removed during the raid on Bethel Girls Academy.  Horribly abused and tortured.  The state of Miss. is aware of this yet is now allowing any parents that want to send their girls back there, can.  Is there anything I can do to help this victim before she is sent back to that Hell Hole!!!  I need advice ASAP.

I don't know. .
But I wonder if she lives in Miss? Maybe Child protective services in her state can be brought in?
Maybe you could call legal aid and find out how to get her a court advocate - or an attorney to help her?

I think this is scarey stuff that the state of Miss. was concerned enough about the allegations of abuse to remove all 38 girls.  Yet, some of those parents truly are willing to give up their parenting card.  Willing to pay someone else to correct the mistakes they have made in child rearing.  Now, this set of parents, no matter what abuse their daughter told them she suffered, want her sent back to Bethel.  Do none of these children have any rights?  Especially considering the state of Miss. removed this girl because the girls were being physically abused.
I could see where this child will be more abused than she was the first time around.  The Fountains now know that this child had every opportunity to tell her parents about the treatment she suffered and yet the parents are sending a very loud and clear message to the Fountains "We don't care what you do to her - take her back".

it's truly hard to believe that parents would send their child back. Some parents just get sucked in - and others just don't want the responsibility of an unrully, difficult teen ager. It is much eacier to cast them off to the care of another. There's also the belief by some of them - that it is a left-wing conspiracy to shut the school down - those who are opposed to Christian values and education.  There's obviously nothing Christian about abusing girls and beating them into submission.

Any Irishman who doubts the reality of selective enforcement ought to take just a moment to comtemplate the etymology of the term "paddy waggon".
