First of all, I don't consider them schools, but rather juvenile warehousing facilities. My son returned from a "prestigous, college-prep TBS" in Ga, five credits behind his peers, while scoring As and Bs there.
Yes, I base some of my judgments on news articles, just as you are and other's do. My personal experience is repeated over and over in every news article published. My research indicates that all facilities use the same baseline philosophy. Some may be more abusive or more covert with their abuse.

The joke is that you missed the point, which was not that they are "in the same league". They are two entities within the same industry. And both's integrity is questionable.

Work with? Read the policies of any program or facility. They're all, more alike than different. WWASP just happens to be in the spotlight just now. I hope each and everyone of them have their day under the heat of an interregation lamp.

You assume that I haven't heard "success" stories. I have. I also understand the mechanics of multi-level marketing, more accurate, Ponsi schemes, and WWASP sits on top of this one. I don't care to hear stories when the person sharing stands to gain monetarily from their "testimonial".
I have also heard many stories from disappointed parents.
I decided some years ago that I had nothing in common with program parents. I am repulsed by the very essence of who they are and they don't care for me. That is where it stands. Hearing another "success" story will not change my opinion of WWASP or the industry in general.
How arrogant of you to assume to know what I need, but then that is the way of those who support the warehousing of teens.
