CCM believes that in some instances its perfectly OK to ship a kid off with no due process.  She's stated that much repeatedly.  That, I think, is where most of us had a problem.

Exactly, she doesnt attack you for all of your opinions, so she shouldnt be attacked for believing it is okay for a child to receive help outside the home.  She lived it 24/7 and is entitled to tell her story of what she went thru and if it was benificial and if she would recommend it to others or not.

There are good stories and bad stories.  Why listen to one without the other?

But what the hell makes you think people AREN'T listening?

If there was no one listening, then there wouldn't be anyone refuting her statements.

Who, you are a really terrible liar...it's quite obvious that it's you.  :D

(I would've known this even without the three dots.)

Its eerie, I read it twice myself and maybe I do suffer from  MPD, It does sound like me and maybe it is a cut and paste from one of my older posts, but that post isnt mine.  I give permission to check the IP's on this thread and ID all my posts if you like.  I do agree with everything the poster said though.

Thats what I get for posting as a guest.

WithOUT due process.  Big difference.  Huge.  I've said that yes, some children (a miniscule amount) may need outside help......that should be WITH due process, WITH a proper dx and WITH proven, effective therapy.  Not a fucking program, because they're NONE of that.

Yep, as did I, as am I.

We did listen.   We didn't agree and stated so as we're entitled to do.    When she started aligning herself with you is when I began to have a problem.

Fornits unlike Cafety won't go down because of lack of interest or people jumping ship because of bruised egos.  Cafety was like a leaky raft compared to Fornits, the biggest most menacing web-based destroyer of propaganda spread by programmies and their shills-for-hire.  Fornits isn't an advocacy or activist "group".   It's fluid.  A "concept" that has worked very well over the years because for the most part, it has stayed true to its original intentions.

This allegation that someone or persons are harvesting IP's for nefarious reasons is repulsive but it sounds to me like that's not what is going on.  Ditto any censoring beyond clamping down on anon postings on the shout box which is something that could and probably should be lifted once the dust settles over this latest flap.

In defense of Psy, it seems to me he is very transparent and makes an effort to explain himself and his actions without much prompting from the peanut gallery which I think most people respect him for.  He's also helped to keep Fornits up and running following the attempts by what's-her-face to take it offline.  That's an admirable thing to do, IMO.

If I could make a suggestion it would be to discontinue the hosting of special interest groups.  Let them sink or swim on their own merit instead of dragging Fornits into their constant drama and infighting.  How about an unmoderated forum where people can post links to their websites for announcements, updates, recruiting, etc?

Anne Boleyn:  All programs are ineffective and abusive
Us:  Really?  Name them and cite proof of efficacy, i.e....long term, peer reviewed, clinical research.
Anne Boleyn:  Nope, you prove that they ARE effective.  Public schools are safe.  Drug dealers are a good influence.  Living on the streets of NYC is safe.
Us:  So, ya got nuthin'.

This is basically your argument.

Ok, safe to say enough time has been wasted here. Those of you who wish to do something to help kids in programs should look elsewhere for a way to do it.

Who, you agreed the ignore user feature was a good idea.  Now you circumvent it, to inflict yourself on everyone?  Were things to peaceful while you were ignored?

Not that anyone should care that much, but I don't bother with the ignore feature. I just skip over posts that I don't wanna read.

You will need to produce some evidence this time Anne,  the last few times you opened you mouth and we asked for proof you cut bait and ran..... cough it up... and make it a clinical study, peer reviewed, long term study that was written this century.  Or at least something that includes todays therapeutic boarding schools.
