Without any lewd joking, how do propose that this "hole" should get plugged?

thewho said you were funny, lewd jokes is one of the many areas where thewho and I disagree.  He is not one for lewd jokes, he has absolutley no social skills at all, aspergers we think.

1)   If the readers could be comfortable that each post had an edit trail then that may plug the hole.
2)   If internal edits were limited to admins that may do it also.  I dont know much about database design but  know admins are busy as hell and would have time to review and change individual posts to suit their personal agenda.
3)   Like the above poster suggest, just be honest and warn readers that the text of their messages could be altered, (at the will of the moderator) if they are way out of line.

note to readers:  all posts in support of thewho, no matter how back-handed the compliments, and all posts pertaining to "altering posts" are written by none other than thewho himself.  are we clear now?

i follow this board very, very carefully

apparently not becuse we covered this a page or 2 back and thewhos proxy there said it wasnt the symbol being added and it occured several months ago to posts under his user name.  If you cant fucking pay attention I am going to ask the mods to start deleting your posts.

I am paying attention. there were no altered posts under his name, as i said before, THE ONLY THING EVER ALTERED WAS THE ADDITION OF THE CATINTHEHAT SYMBOL. sounds like Damage control -- even when thewho is banned sweeping claims are made that all the negative posts are his.  Instead of focusing on some badly needed internal changes you blame all your problems on thewho.

Personally I dont think they will string his posts together unless they are sure there is a case against him.  They would need to show he was flooding the forum or make it appear he was.
I havent read much of what he read, but I dont think he is the type to flood.

If you want to alter peoples posts you should be honest and tell them in the beginning.  being secretive and lying about altering posts will only hurt the credibility of your site.  We see it happen here all the time no one trusts the information.
We had a child hotline called "inhope" which failed because of the bloody mess that is caused by not being honest and moderators who have open reigns.  No people would trust the sites info because the posts were compremissed  It is doing well in France and Amsterdam, I think.  Its a big success but it took a long time to figure out why people didnt visit it herein the UK and it was due to the disorganization I see on your site.

Flooding is what they put down on paper.  The guy was banned because of his views, everyone knows it, no one liked him.  He offered to have his posts reviewed, but either they are reviewing and trying to make a case against him or they are hopeing it will just go away.
Kind of sucks to have someone silenced because of his views.  I liked the old fornits where anything goes, it wasnt just one mind set or group.  Lots of arguing back then aqnd defending eachs on ideas.
