Bullshit, 95% of my posts or better were me logged in.  I got into a flame war with someone but I wasnt flooding or logging in as many identities until the last day before I was banned.
Someone was changing the header to posts I didnt write and I was responding by doing the same.  I was logging in as a guest at the time.

If someone takes a snapshot of anypoint in time (except the last day or 2) I will give them $5 for every guest post.  I logged in more than most and I didnt take on multiple identies as they would have you believe.

I was banned, I believe, because I exposed a flaw in the system and someone would be embarrassed if this was admitted, so was easier to silence me.  I am not looking for anyone to be exposed or for myself to say. "Ah, I won"  I dont give a shit.  
If you want the truth it is there in the database for anyone to see, there was no flooding going on (prior to me being banned)

We can go back and forth, but the answer is in the database.

I'll have to interject on that point...  We have an absolutely unholy amount of bandwith and aren't charged for traffic.  It's a flat fee (and a good price at that).  zippy server too.

No. posting a lot is not ever going to bring the forum down or increase hosting costs. It can, however be used to deny service in a different way by making the forum difficult to navigate, read, understand, etc...  It may not crash anything, but it might as well if it prevents people from discussing things (drowning out).

If I find what I thing i'm going to find (flooding), my next move will be to look up and ban the ip range for your entire (tiny dialup) isp for wasting my time and disrupting the damn forum again.

I think you will find that out of the 3,000 or more posts 40or 50 are guest posts.

If it shows subtantially higher than that I will buy a fornits teeshirt and wear it to the next board meeting (and have a picture taken).

I am not looking particularly to be unbanned, just like things to be right.  You may find something else to ban me for, but be honest is all I ask.  I'll accept what I sowed.

prior to the new service the idea of a Doss attack was a very real threat, and it was under that service the Who was banned.

Regardless.  That isn't flooding.

Look.  After looking into it, Talking to Ginger and Kelly, we've decided that it was a mistake to ban TheWho in the first place.  I know this is going to piss people off, but He's now un-banned.  And since we made a mistake there is really no need for a t-shirt either.

And we will be modifying the forum to add edit trails for admins.
