AUNTIE never uses words an aunt would use like, "my niece,"  or "this little girl,"  or "this young girl".....she say "A KID."

I'll be very, very clear here: You have to get her involved in this. Every step of the way. Regardless of her emotional maturity, which is almost certainly retarded by the way her parents treat her. To do otherwise would be criminal. SHE is your biggest asset to prevent her from going.

Further, you must start building her shields, now, whether she goes or not, because this is probably going to get ugly no matter what happens. It's not fun, but anything dealing with child abuse never is...

Long story.  Don't worry about it.  BTW... to whoever posted this...  she isn't Izzy.

What the guest poster is talking about has to do with an "advocate", Isabelle Zehnder, who was exposed as a fraud (she lives in Washington state).  Somebody contacted her as an "aunt" to find out if she was working with an educational Consultant, Sue Scheff. Turns out she was.  She is pretty irate and is the type to get revenge.  I believe you.

Cut it out.  I've talked to the lady in PMs.  She is legit.  If she wasn't she would be trying to trap me somehow, and she hasn't done that at all.  Look.. The "IzzyBlaster Brigade" is on this, and we've already determined that this parent probably isn't Izzy.  OK.  If she was.. It would be better if you let me turn her trap upside-down in my own way.  Outing her is much less effective than letting her hang herself and then outing her (See "interesting tidbit..." thread).

Sorry about that Kelly.  People here are very skeptical about the people posting here under false pretenses (which happens more than a fair amount).

Yes Kelly, what Psy said.  The same thing happened when I first came here.  I see that it's happened a lot, but probably no more here than somewhere else.  Just do your best to ignore it.  

I, for one, am glad you came here to get some help.  There are a lot of people here, and a wealth of information and resources.  Sometimes there's things that you might just want to turn the otherway, but for the most part, there's a lot of information and caring people.

In all the searching that I did in late 2006, I never heard of Fornits.... maybe it's how I searched but it never came up.  I just now again tried under "teen programs" and everything that came up was PRO program... not good at all.
