Very difficult to watch but parents should see this....

He committed suicide, I believe.

No - he didn't.
He died, June 6th 2006,  but not by suicide.
His heart was failing, and it is believed that's what killed him.

The rumors about this Documentary's release keep flying.
I hard the same as everyone else, that it was WWASP/ Litchfield that had an injunction holding up the release in the USA. What I heard came through a grape vine - its not like the French told me or anything. Still, it is true Something has kept it from being released.

Another rumor I have heard - also through a grape vine - is that is is Mz Scheff her own self that is keeping it from being released.

You know there are two versions? The short version some have seen when Google had the link up. There is a long version - about half an hour longer. Much speculation has taken place about what is on the long version. I have heard that Sue is not pleased with this version and has threatened to file suit if it gets released. The producers just don't want the hassle, and so scrapped the release plans.

I have also heard the problem is the niece who was filmed incognito. That she would not sign a release.

I have no idea if any or all of this is true. But, so far, that the extent of the rumors I have heard.

Well somethings up, I went looking for "Help at any cost" in book stores and I can't find it anywhere. I even tried a different city but every store says that they would have to order it, strange or coincidence?

I "heard" that Sue Scheff threatened to sue if the 90 minute version of the TB Documentary was released, because this version tells about Ms. Scheff referring kids to these WWASP programs for money.

BUT, you know about "hearing things".....it could just be gossip.

I think Lee Colburn or Sue Scheff is writing about the French saying "Americans eat their young."  This is something I remember Sue telling a bunch of us when the French began filming.

I think the French are going to sue Scheff and edit out her of the 90 minute version.  That's the rumor I am spreading.

Where did you hear Sue Scheff threatened to sue?  Cay you tell us?  T

hat would be totally cool and I hope she does sue or get sued. They unlike poor Carey won't back off and Sue will be a dot of bad history. great sport to watch.  Serve the witch just right IMO

Not likely with all the money they have in this film.  My bet the longer version will be released and Sue will be sueing which will be super fun to watch.

The only version that seems to be torrented is 53:07 in length. I can't imagine why SS would object to this one, since it paints her in a pretty good light as "the mom who fought WWASP."

As for Help At Any Cost, why not just order it from Amazon? I got my copy in just a few days.

It's the 90 minute version of the TB Documentary that Sue Scheff is reportedly very displeased about.

I would suspect the book isn't stocked because the sales aren't high enough. It doesn't pay to let them sit on a shelf, so they keep it at the warehouse and ship it when ordered. It's not a mainstream topic.

But, I wondered why I could find O'Reilly's new book everywhere I went, but I dould not find a copy of An Inconvenient Truth, anywhere. Sales, or corporations / politics? You decide.

I had imagined that this book sold quite well in the US. It seems a great shame that this is the case.

Good luck making a big deal out of them saying that.

Why doesn't the bitch write about George Clinton who the French were obviously quoting.

Good album btw.

I could order it anywhere, I'm sure. But I was out on Christmas Eve and shopping with rednecks in rural Ohio. We were checking out stores like Walmart and K-Mart when my cell goes off and my ex says to buy Gore's book for my Sister and give it to her as a Christmas present from my ex.

I found the right wing lies and crap like O'Reilly's book for kids, but nothing 'liberal' on the shelves of these discount giants. I asked clerks, but they never heard of the book (seriously).

In reality, they probably don't stock them because they probably would not sell at these locations.

I ended up buying Jeff Foxworthy's dictionary. My Sis loved it. My ex rolled her eyes.

Scheff might have come off better if the film had been released upon completion.  Now Sue's not "the mom who fought WWASP", but the coldhearted EdCon who sued Katrina-displaced single mom Carey Bock for 11 million, and Scheff waited until Bock was moving to Texas to serve court papers Bock wouldn't receive until after the court date.  I can't imagine Carey Bock would blow off a defamation suit, especially considering the plaintiff.  Scheff didn't give off warm and fuzzy vibes in the film.  She seemed to be an opportunist with a myopic view of abusive facilities, singlemindedly dogging WWASP as if there were no other fucked-up programs.  Watching the film with the benefit of hindsight, you can tell Sue was pushing the martyr role, thinking about her EdCon service.  Parents would view her as possessing integrity and balls, at the same time managing to  excoriate some WWASP ass.  She could have a personal vendetta against Lichfield, maybe in the past he had refused to hire her.  Ken Kay might have maced Scheff while working as an overzealous nightshift Rent-A-Pig?  It seems Sue has no problems with abusive programs, she's made big cabbage reccomending hellholes that got busted for being fucking brutal..

Scheff threw her arm around Steve(?), the guy who spent five years in WWASPS, like it was a photo op, then quickly released him to deliver that spiel, something like "the kids have a voice again!"  Steve(?) looked a little uncomfortable,  he may have an aversion to people grabbing him.  After the shit he went through, trust has to be an issue.

Sue, these are personal opinions, and you could consider these statements defamatory.  Being a "limited public figure" created by your self-generated fame/infamy, you have the additional legal onus to prove remarks were made with "actual malice", meaning comments issued with a reckless disregard for truth. So don't sue me.  It's like...my opinion, man.  I have a question, though:  How do you sleep?  How do you drift into serene slumber, knowing the shit you do?
