Ran into an old lifer friend a couple of days ago when she came into my work, some one who I was completly mad for in the program, 89-91, and she still looks 16years old and hot as ever.  I had not seen G.S. now G.O. in 15 years, but when we started talking its like we been hanging out forever.  I have been known to complain about the program, and sometimes be a little bitter, but I  have to remind myself about the close bond we all share.  I think whether your experience was bad or good, we all took away something positive, even if it was something like a life long friendship.  So if you read this G.S. I think your beautiful, inside and out and hope to hear from you soon, you have my cell number, call a brother.

First to reply to sara, you are right the focus seemed to be drugs.  I myself was not a "druggie" but was brought in by my mother who is a high end bi-polar currently splitting her time between costal recovery and jail.  Funny that the highly trained staff could not see through her F.O.S. behavior.  Long story short (to late i know)I was a run away not a druggie but because looney toon mom told mrs.pete that i was i sat on 1st phase for 3 months because i would not talk about my druggie past.  Finally i made up drug using stories based on things i heard from the other lifers and finally began to phase. When I reached fith 10 months later i bolted and did not look back, well untill the popo caught up with me.
  On a lighter side, anyone who was in during the early 90's remeber a 6 phaser who came to group high on mushroom's that was a hoot.  let's not be angry with each other, for we all share something in comman which the average joe cant comprehend.  just agree to disagree and move on, trying to remember the friends we made.  Then if we have any spare time burn down the place,Ha!
I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO HAVE ANOTHER REUNION FOR THE LIFERS, I HAVE MISSED THE OTHER ONES CAUSE I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THIS WEB SITE. SO ANY ONE INTERESTED LETS GET SOMETHING GOING, MABE IT WILL HELP US HEAL.

NO, I JUST DISCOVERED THIS WEB SITE THREE DAYS AGO.  I LOST CONTACT WITH THE FRIENDS I HAD FROM THE PROGRAM.  THE ONLY THING I KNOW IS MRS. PETE IS ST PETE, FL.  I KNOW SOME LEFT AND WENT ON TO GOOD THINGS, OTHERS EITHER ENDED UP IN JAIL OR DEAD.  THE ARMY TURNED ME AROUND.  BUT NOW THAT I KNOW THIS IS HERE I CHECK IT EVER HOUR.  WOULD REALLY LIKE TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE PEOPLE I TURNED TO IN THAT HELL HOLE.  LIFE IS FUNNY TO ME, IT WAS A LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP.  HAD THE BEST FRIENDS OF MY LIFE BUT ALSO LOST A YEAR AND HALF OF MY LIFE, HAVING TO MAKE UP STORIES JUST TO MAKE PHASE. I AGREE, HE IS TWISTED, AND YOUR CORRECT IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN UP TO 13, 14, 15, 16 YEAR OLD KIDS.  ANYONE OUT THERE STAY AT THE LIFE PROGRAM IN OSPREY FL FROM 90 TO 91....TRYING TO GET A REUNION GOING. PLZ REPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE NOT MADE IT TO, "TALK" OR "TALK AND RESPONSIBILITY" THEN I GUESS THE GROUP WILL HAVE TO VOTE ON IT.....

YA STEP IN TAMPA, NOT LIFE IN OSPREY, FLORIDA. THAT IS WHERE ALOT OF THE ABUSE TOOK PLACE.  HRS CAME AND INVESTIGATED AND BEFORE THEY GOT THERE THE REZ DAD TOLD US NOT TO SAY ANYTHING OR IT WOULD BE "NO PHASE STATIS".  WE CAN NEVER GET BACK THE YEAR OR TWO YEARS OR EVE MORE FOR SOME PEOPLE THAT WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WITH FRIENDS BEING KIDS.  SOME OF US DID NOT HAVE DRUG PROBLEMS BUT PARENT PROBLEM WHO JUST WANTED OUT OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF RAISING CHILDREN.  MRS. PETERMANN BELIEVES ME ABOUT HOW IT IS NOT ME BUT MY LYING MOTHER, DUE TO THE FACT SHE COULD NOT HIDE HER DEMONS FOR EVER.  NOW SHE IS IN AND OUT OF JAIL.

were you sucking mrs pete's dick or something, you had to be a freakin staff member or maybe a fraud.  i saw several boys and girls mess their pants from being denied to use the bathroom by the dickheads standing at the end of the pew. my life turned out ok, sure, but am i still bitter? fuck ya!  i would never sugjest a cult such as the life program to any parent of a teenager.  the only thing good from that program were the good friends who were in the same hell as me.  and for you to make fun of that person who crapped their pants and then sit in it for ten hours plus deal with the humiliation of it all(which is a thousand times greater when your a kid)then your a sick fuck and i really question the fact that you said you were there. maybe you were a sibling and think you know shit but you dont so fuck off.

about our teenage rights, i guess you were not put in a rez during the hrs investigation, sat in a chair and told to keep your fucking mouth shut. or told to lie about being abused when 7 power hungry teenage boys beat your head in the floor while you were being restrianed..glad your experience was so pleasant, you must have been staff or m ::kma:: rs. petes butt puppet.

Hey Chris c.from south carolina, its jason c. you lived with me during the program then i visited you when i got out of the army....know me yet? was in from 1990 to 1991.  member johnathan b. the crack head with terets...ish ish.  if anybody that attended life in 1990 to 1991 and yall want to have a reunion please post. would love to swap druggy past stories, or at least say cool, man, or dude like 110 times.  or we could sing puppet on a string(should of been brainwashed puppet on a string)
