Well, my mom didn't sign my life away, I also signed... and it SUCKED - BIG TIME ... however, YOU CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT YOU WANT ---so you DEAL with it (if your smart).  Which is what I did.
Good God. You give kids whatever they want in life growing up, and what do you end up with?? A spoiled, inconsiderate MONSTER and non-functioning adult. Tahnk god they didn't let me continue to screw up my future. We are still very close today.
Sorry some of you want to wallow in your bitterness, and remain stuck in your adolesence and it's drama.  I didn't, so I did what I needed, made some GOOD changes where I needed, and live life pretty happily now.

We all looked like shit.  I don't know about you, but if you broke it down, an outsider would swear that we were powerless over lipstick, and that was our gateway into harder stuff... for the girls anyway... for the guys it was probably upturned collars, and spiky hair.

Another thing:  Why were guys allowed to shave and girls weren't?

Christ, (I don't know if things changed when you were there), but, the stupidest "rule" I ever heard was that we were not allowed to use "Buf Puffs"... the abrasive, wash cloth alternative exfoliators that would take the shit out of your pores so that they could breathe and prevent pimples.  Buf-Puffs were considered "cosmetic".

I know I always came out looking like a streetwalker after using a Buf-Puff... how 'bout you?

Oh shit!!! :scared:  Looks like I slit my wrists again trying to shave my legs and underarms.  I'll be back in 72 hours.

How old were you when you signed your name?  If you were under 18, there is not now, nor one statute that existed then that would have validated your signature on a contract.

What would have happened if your parents would have chosen to pull you out?  Do you think your signature would have trumped your parent's?

Yeah, if you wanted to stay, you certainly wouldn't have gotten what you wanted.

Well, it couldn't have been a vanity thing.  If so, then every guy in there should have been sporting the "unaltered" look, just like the females.

Hippocracy at it's finest... still alive today, folks!   ::bangin::

were you sucking mrs pete's dick or something, you had to be a freakin staff member or maybe a fraud.  i saw several boys and girls mess their pants from being denied to use the bathroom by the dickheads standing at the end of the pew. my life turned out ok, sure, but am i still bitter? fuck ya!  i would never sugjest a cult such as the life program to any parent of a teenager.  the only thing good from that program were the good friends who were in the same hell as me.  and for you to make fun of that person who crapped their pants and then sit in it for ten hours plus deal with the humiliation of it all(which is a thousand times greater when your a kid)then your a sick fuck and i really question the fact that you said you were there. maybe you were a sibling and think you know shit but you dont so fuck off.
