I remember all of them. Jessica had a sister who was on staff. I remember they all carved on themselves and that Alicia and Jessica were really bad about it. Ummm, I think. I could be thinking of someone else. Another one in this group was Stacy something. I have no idea what happened to any of them.

I know Nathan is an investment banker in ATL. The last I heard of Tom was that he was back in Jackson, MS and working in a porn shop. This was quite some time ago. Spoke with Nathan a year or so ago, but haven't kept up.

After doing my time including staff, I bounced around with many jobs until 1990 when . In college, I started a lawn service business and did quite well. I kick myself in the ass for not keeping it sometime. I do, however, like AC. I am now the UNIX Administrator for a midcap corporation. A computer geek.

George owned the property on which the ATL Straight Sat. Also was a generous donor. A good guy who gave jobs to the inmates, paid a fair wage. He's English and only came to visit once during my entire stay in ATL.

Hi, Kerrie - It was good to hear from you. Dang, I didn't even remember Jay Boone and apologize for getting the story wrong. I had dinner with Glen S. the other evening and your name came up. He said he had been on contact with you. I am glad you are doing well and to be honest, really happy to hear from you. I miss contact with people from that part of my life. It was huge. I guess that would explain the efforts I go through to find some of them.

Nice use of the aside (), I deserved that.

Shortly after making 5th phase they sent him back to St. Pete so he could 7-Step from that group. That was in '83-'84. Atlanta was much more laid back than St. Pete and he was really scared. Don't know what happened to him after that.

I remember there was another transfer from St. Pete, a Mark (?). Short, worked out, dark hair. Y'all remember him. I think he was the only transfer there not on a mini-program. I came in April 1982.

The Staffer was an Exec.? Mike really hated it there. Always looked like he'd eaten something that tasted bad. Can't remember the exec's name, buy he really knew his stuff. Was working on a PhD at Georgia St. and also worked at Grady Memorial in their Psyc Ward. Didn't last long at Straight, Imagine that.

YES! He did have a lisp!

Derek got cancer?! Man that REALLY sucks! I think he was the only person that ever got some, with staff permission. Derek came back on a mini-program also and had gotten married in the mean time. He'd take off for the week-end and come back all smiles. While on staff Derek would come into group in the AM playing air guitar and singing "Black Beatty". Once when Someonereported me for listening to druggie music and putting on images in my car, Derek took me aside after group. He asked me what I was listening to and I told him BOC. Derek replied their pretty cool and that was that.
