One day before open meeting, they restrained me and they told the people that restrained me to the timout room. they all picked me up, I flipped myself over and they all dropped me. My face hit the floor.

Most times I got restrained it was so fast. After I hit the floor I would start feeling the pain. I think you would have to have it done to you to know the real pain of knees being pressed as hard as they can into your body. Or your mouth and nose being covered and cant breathe.

This sucks! I like remember everyone and so many details. Not many remember me. My name was Shanna Reynolds I remember Amy when she was on 4th phase. I remember cause she was the only one on 4th phase forever! I was allways in the front row and Amy was allways in front of me. I didnt have a brother in with me, that was Shannon A. with Berry A. I remember Delaney, both Leslies, Kim, I guess I remember everyone. I dunno if it would be better to not remember. I was only 13 when I was there. I went in 2 days before Christmas 1987.

I have a 14 yr old. If I would ever put my child into a place, I would first have to know that at anytime I would be allowed to walk in and see my child to make sure she is doing fine. I also would wanna see where my child would be sleeping at night. I would wanna talk to the doctor first too. I interview doctors first anyways to learn about them and to make sure I trust them with the decisions they make for my children. I would make sure that the staff have children and doctors have children of thier own. Why would I want a doctor or staff helping me with problems they have not delt with first hand? These are things my mother says she regrets not doing before she sent me to Straight. She was irresponsible and she admits it.

Wow! I used to bang my head on the concrete floor. I remember them getting a pillow but it didnt help much. the headbanging, It would make me get dizzy. I wouldnt feel as much pain from the knees that was being pressed into my legs. people sitting on my arms. Banging my head took away the pain in my body.

When I left Straight , they sent me to a mental ward. They counted I think like 56, 1 inch long scabs on my arms. I had used what nails I had cause they would cut my nails off as short as they could. I would rub a place until it formed a scab, and then I would peel it off over and over again.

I also remember a time after Straight. I was cutting some kinda food in the kitchen. I got really angry and took the knife, stabbed it into my leg, pulled it out and continued to cut the food. I still have the scar, never got stitches and never told anyone until right now on this forum.

I also cut my wrist, doctors laughed cause I cut them the wrong way. Guess I know now what way I need to do it next time![ This Message was edited by: Ex5k on 2005-09-01 13:37 ]
