hello. my name is delaney clark. i was in there from 3-1987 till 11-1988. i had chicken pox in there and had to sit in a small room at the back of the group room. we did not have to sit in the seats. there was about 5 of us. how are you people. anyone remember me?>

this is delaney again. i think i remember you shanna. did you have a boyfriend named bobby in there also? of course i remember you leslie. how are you? i am married and had my first baby on 4-13-2005. her name is jenna ann clark, she is beautiful. i also have a step daughter that is 5 named chloe. what is new? i just found this web site yesterday. i read that something bad happened to steve brooks. is he still alive? how is everyone?

Delaney Clark, good to see ya.  Back in 1990 or 1991 I was living in San Deigo, CA when I received a letter from a Delaney Clark.  I opened it up and found a marijuana cigerette.  It turned out to be from Phil Courtney.  I don't know why he used your name on the return address.  Maybe it would have gone to you if I hadn't got it?   :smokin:

so, i found this web site by doing a google search for my name. jason poirot wrotew about me. this is very strange. apparently straight made a big impact on lots of people to have them still talking about it 19 years later. straight was like my high school. i never went to any prom or graduation because i was in the building under the glow of the florescent bulbs. well, life is strange. i would like to see some of the old people again. are there any web sites with pics? talk to you people later

Hi Delaney!  I remember you only a little.  I came in on 08/08/88.  I think I remember you mainly because we share the same last name.  I made it to 4th phase after only working 2 days at a nursery.  The rest of my time I was in Straight.  I was an out-of-towner, so I didn't have a host home.  No car to take me to work, and by the time I made it to 3rd, it was too late in the school year to go to school.  I never looked at it like Straight being my highschool, but that makes such perfect sense for me.  Some of my close friends like to joke with me about it.  I don't hide it, my experience at Straight is part of what has made me to be the person that I am today.  I don't have shame in it.  You know the phrase in the movie American Pie, where the girl says, "This one time at band camp....."?  Well, my friends joke about me saying, "This one time at rehab...."!  It's actually pretty funny.

Glad you found this site... but be careful, because some people like to vent a lot of negativity here.  Sometimes it's good only in small doses.

this site is still tripping me out. so, from the people on here it would seem that straight did not keep many off drugs. i still act goofy like when we were in straight. my wife thinks i am crazy sometimes. oh, by the way, you all have been talking behind backs a little much. no tv and radio.
