I kept in contact with all of them for awhile. Pete and Erica are from Saginaw. I use to live at Bruce Goins house in Farmington Hills.

Has anyone heard from Andy? We went to the Soundgarden/Voivod concert when I graduated. I miss so many people from there.

Anyone remember how that water always had floaties in it! I think "motivating" was the worst. How humilating to put your hands up and down like a monkey for 8 to 10 hours a day. Or open mtgs on mondays when we were all crammed in that dam carpet room sittin on the floor with sore backs and asses! Or how some people were hypochondriacs so they could always be in that damn room with a bed and get out of those shitty groups. I don't know if you remember who I am. I was the blond hair punk chick who was always accused of being to imagy. I only got to stand behind group once when I graduated because I was too "imagy". I gave up my Farah Faucett do 2 years earlier so I didn't exactly fit it. I loved having the ability to piss evetone off because I wasn't a Sraight zombie like a lot of others!

I was in from 90 - 92, i remember all of what you are talking about. I read that Jerry died, he lived 2 blocks from me for a while there and its hard to believe he is gone. I just came acreoss this site and its hard to see all the deamons that i have tried to burry for so many years stareing me right in the face. It is nice to know that there are still people like me that battle with the memories still. i will be checking back often to see what is new. i look forward to hearing from anyone who was in on my program.

I was just curious to know why this site was on that website? What is the website so I can check it out. I never knew thase sites existed either. I had insomnia one night and decided to do a google search for Straight and found a lot of stuff. It's cool that everyone is trying to re-connect. I've found that whenever I disclose my so called "druggie past" being in Straight no one really truly understands unless they have been there. I usually just keep it to myself for this reason. I equate my time with being locked up for 22 months.

cypress lockett is in prison as far as I know.  She was busted in Okemos.  Her and some others shot and killed a junkie.  She was alledgedly selling drugs at the time.  This was back in like '98-'00.  I can't remember.

Whoa it's something seeing this thread come back up. I first found it 1/2/04 and was crying my eyes out while posting. Forgive the typos between all the tears I had shed finding other people out there who were finally not afraid to tell the truth about that place.

My cousin has a friend that was in Plymouth Straight, but I don't know her name.  I think they met in a different rehab, or maybe knew each other from school briefly.  Not sure.  I don't have contact with my cousin anymore though.  She's a heroine addict and has lost custody of all 4 of her children because of her addiction.

My host sister was in the Dallas program the same time as you and later transfered to Plymouth. You may remember her. I'll PM you her name.

Cypress is in prison? That's so sad.

She was part of a group of misbehavors I was in, we called ourselves the "sorry seven" because we got told how pathetic and sorry we were on such a regular basis. She was only 12 or 13 years old.  Mostly what I remember about her was that she wouldn't carve in her arms. Did she graduate or get pulled or what, does anyone know?

Oh yeah, and her mom died shortly after she went to prison, too.  I think she had cancer or something with her heart or something.  I don't know. What an unbelievably rough time.

Did you know Katie Stadler, Gina or Paul Avino, or a little girl (she was like 12 or 13 and very tiny) named Nikki?

 Or (Brian) Scott Chandler?
