Oh, one more thing .... imagine if there had not been a working video camera pointed right at the this guy the moment this girl was kidnapped?  Joseph Smith would not be sitting in jail tonight, that's for damn sure.  These parents are lucky, at least they know who did this to their child and will have some closure down the road, unlike other parents whose children are still missing.  Not much consolation at this point, but I do think people are relieved the guy is finally off the streets.

Fox News is reporting that Smith is being held in a jail cell by himself, for his OWN protection. Seems the guy is at-risk of being targeted by other prisoners seeking revenge for the death of this little girl.  Second, did you hear that a police officer actually saw Smith coming out of the bushes (in an area not far from where this child was later discovered 5 days later) but let him go apparently believing his story that he (Smith) was just taking a leak?  God, this just keeps getting worse as more details are released to the public but I guess that the more people know the better educated they are about what they can do to protect themselves and their children. I feel sorry for the police officer, he/she must be really devastated.
