Keep this family in your thoughts

Cayo Hueso:
I live in St. Pete...just above Sarasota.  They just found the body of the little girl that was kidnapped.  Seeing that video really hit me hard.  All I can think about is my own daughters and how frightened that poor girl must have been in her last moments.

This has really effected this whole area.  When I was taking my youngest to school there were 3 other mothers dropping their kids off, crying. The sheriff was crying as he made the announcement, it's just been awful all week. I've had some rough times in my life, but all that pales in comparison today and makes me grateful to see my kids faces and wrap my arms around them.

There are not enough jails, not enough policemen, not enough courts to enforce a law not supported by the people.

Oh, this is just horrendous!  To think this precious child's life was erased by a man alledged to be the father of three little girls. God Bless Carlie and her parents, family and friends.  I imagine the community is totally devastated. Cayohueso, thanks for letting us know. You are all in my thoughts.

Okay, Florida needs to stop worrying about getting tough with juvenile offenders and focus on keeping guys like this off the streets.  Yes, parents have to be very involved in their kids lives (including not letting their children be out of sight of an adult responsible for their health and safety) but this guy has some serious issues with breaking the law in the past and apparently, should have been locked up awhile ago for parole violations.

Cayo Hueso:
In '97 or '98 this guy tried the same thing to an adult woman.  He came up and grabbed her by the arm and told her if she didn't go with him that he would cut her.  She ended up getting away, he was charged and went to trial and GOT OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flame:  :flame:  :flame: The  excuse he gave for grabbing her arm was that he was helping her across the street. :flame: The violation that they originally took him in on a few days ago was presented to a judge and he let the guy walk saying "no further action was necessary".   AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.  How the fuck can shit like this be allowed to go on???????
Do you support drug prohibition because it finances criminals at home or because it finances terrorists abroad?

I agree! Bottom line is this little girl did not have a chance once this monster abducted her in broad daylight, no less.  Thank God the perp was caught on camera and that he is safely behind bars so the rest of the community need not be further traumatized and terrorized.  Did the guy confess and tell the cops where to find the body or did they find Carlie on their own or as the result of a tip?  Personally, I think they need to torture these suspects into revealing where they left their victims.  Case in point, the girl from Grand Forks (Dru) who was abducted at a mall back in November and has not been found despite the fact that the suspect was immediately arrested.  Forget being civilized. These creeps should not be allowed to torment their victim's families while they sit in jail exercising their rights not to incriminate themselves.
