--- Quote from: "Samara" ---Since None-ya had fun venting about cats, I will take this much needed opportunity to vent about not dogS but A dog. I like cats and I like dogs but this dog !$*?!. . .
WTF?
I cannot, will not do this again.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity to vent and not create a new line of fur footballs.
(I suck, I know.)

Pooch is spoiled, insecure, and untrained and probably over medicated. If the owner will take the time she can make a huge difference to this dogs quality of life. But I am suspecting she won't take the time or make the effort. Poor pup. Poor people subjected to poor pup.
Samara:
Yep -my Dad likes to say: It's not the dog, it's the owner. But this owner coddles him so much. The dog rules the roost. WTf does he have to be insecure about?

Not unlike a child, a dog needs to know there are rules and a pack leader. Because the owner has abdicated the role, this dog thinks he is pack leader, because someone has to be, and he is trying to do his job - but for sure and certain his pack often fails to submit - and this is a source of constant insecurity and stress. If the owner would take over the role and establish consistent rules and predictable daily routine the dog would be much happier, manageable and secure.
Samara:
Seriously, if I were a guy, there is no way I could sustain a relationship with dog owner - just because of this dog. It would be a deal breaker. My annoyance and disgust over dog would transfer to owner. I have never thought that way before, but now I get it when people say that.
