That is unbelieveably pathetic, I agree.  That being said, many of the program parents I have dealt with fit this description as well.  Narcissism seems to be a pretty common thread among these folks.

when people are angry at other people, they can make things up. max was angry at his dad for sending him to a school that robbed him of his youth and closure with his mother. I understand that kids make things up when they are pissed off and trying desperately to make someone look bad.  We see this here all the time which makes it tough to figure out what is true and what is not true.  But the question I have is was he pissed off at his mother also?  Was she okay with him being sent away or was she against it?  Do you know at all?

John we've already established that the kids at HLA had no need to make up anything, the place was abusive enough without the need to exaggerate. Let's not waste time covering already gotten ground.

To answer your question it appears as though even if your wife was angry about the situation she didnt stay that way for long. That is of course because she ended up dead. We're still waiting on you to enlighten us all regarding that situation.
