Okay, I just got logged out, despite opting to stay logged in "forever." There seem to be two places to opt for that, so maybe I just didn't opt for it correctly. At any rate, this happened in the middle of my posting. I had previewed once, everything looked fine, and then when I posted I got sacked with warning messages about needing to fill in my name and email. This was during my just previous post above.

So Anons now need to give an email addy and fill in some name? My guess is that the email addy does not even have to be real, but... Perhaps that issue could be clarified for us all?    :(

The email address does not need to be real.  It's just used for notifications.

Notifications of what?  What notifications might be sent to such an address?  Here's two from the Hyde forum this morning... Not me, I swear!  I've been busy over here!   ;D  ;D

For you, I recommend re-installing windows... for anybody else who is having this problem, see if clearing your cookies out works.  I'm using Safari 3 here (Mac) and it's working fine.

Thanks, psy, I seem to have access to log-in now....although I lost everything on my hard drive.  I could have swore you said reformat not reinstall.

Super new site guys.  8)
Can we please put the Ads back? They rocked. Particularly the books as many are not available internationally and need to be gotten through amazon.
Cheers

I think it will be difficult for people to find the new forum....you cant get here from a google search yet............. it made it easier when you put the link to here from the old forum but I don't think it is clear enough.....  I would make it larger......  place a moving banner...

We Have Moved... click here

or make it an automatic jump... "On open http://wwf.fornits.com/"... "Goto http://www.fornits.com/smf""...  or something like that.  You could interrupt the jump by holding the "ALT" or "Ctrl" button.

This clears up any questions on why home schooling was never on the table as an option......
and why the kids were too embarrassed to have friends over.

Funny, my kids were homeschooled for a time and my house was always (still is when they're home from college) the one where all the kids hung out.  But you're probably right.  You would know much more about my life than I would.

(what happened to the emoticons?   The rolly eye guy came up as a smiley in preview)

You don't have to read it.  You can skip right on over it if you don't like it.

I understand now why they opted for public school instead of staying home to listen to language like that all day.  If a teacher yelled at them that way it would be considered abusive.

They didn't opt.  My choice.

As I said before, I wouldn't dream of speaking to my kids like that.  They're awesome people.  Bright, intelligent, compassionate and sensitive.  There would be no reason to speak to them the way I speak to program shills and assholes.  You really do have a problem with comprehension, huh?
