how about having to get naked in from of your dorm fellows for showering, bathroom watching, the strip search.

An no, the shower experience is not the same as in a public school. Unless at your school, the kids can focribly strip and bathe you, if you balk at public nutity due to your modesty, or if you havent cleaned well enough to their sadistic pleasure

Our TV-station DR1 (Denmarks Radio number one) did a broadcast called "The Great Year" about one of our continuation schools - boarding school where students who are tired and need a year off the public school system can apply to stay. They are stilled schooled and if they violate the rules at the schools they are sent home and have to finish the local public school instead.

Some of the schools have managed to send between 25 to 34 percent of the students home during a year. Normally about 20 percent can not live in a controlled environment with no alcohol and no sex and that is not a problem. They have to return to the general society at some point, so rather have them sent home sooner than later if they are not fit for a life in a controlled environment. They can grow up and start businesses instead if they want to live a challenging life. Some of those companies, who have been sold for huge amounts are established by former unruly students. Living in a society where laziness are rewarded (You can earn more on social service than in low-income jobs) means that a huge of those people who establish firms are in fact sick with ADHD disorder. I have meat several of new business owners and in the past I often wondered how they got both the energy and the new ideas from. Some people have been broken 15 or 20 times before they established the firm that made them rich.

Well about the broadcast. A young shy girl were forced to play a part in a show where she had to kiss another girl. I have no problem with girls doing that, but they choose it themselves. She was forced into that role and the rest of the year she stayed with her boyfriend at the school and missed benefits she could have received by being an active member of the general student population. Why? Properly out of shame.

Is it WWASP, who claims that emontional growth only happens when you are in a state of discomfort? They hurt her on national television.

Maybe so, but the druggies did the necessary things to end up in a drug rehab. No one forced them to get high; they brought it on themselves. We do our best to rout out the homos (after all, we're called STRAIGHT, for Christ's sake), but there are always a few bad apples....
