The Hives--"Antidote"

The Raveonettes--"Love In A Trash Can"

A bunch of stuff from The Rutles soundtrack

The Rutles soundtrack was so well done, I get some Rutles tunes confused with real Beatles songs.  Neil Innes is a genius.

No shit!  I recently saw the sequel, it was OK, but not as good as the original.    I love that shit, it's better than Spinal Tap.

Rembrandt Pussyhorse.. boy this sure takes me back.. I remember when that came out..hearing those songs was the best part of this one particular trip that became a really bad trip after a while.. I had accidently eaten all 3 hits of the acid..I was tripping balls and the people I was with of course weren't tripping at all, and weren't too pleased with me for having eaten all 3 hits..oops..

That is a great album, I really like it.   I could see them as a soundtrack for a bad trip, though.  A buddy of mine was a roadie for the Butthole Surfers and said one time Gibby offered him the choice of eating a sheet of acid or getting dropped off the tour bus in the middle of the desert.  He chose the acid and I don't think he's been the same ever since.  Cool guy, he used to show a bunch of B-movie trailers behind my band when we were on stage.  We did that a couple of times, then he left town, 'cause he is smarter than the rest of us who are still here.

"Creep In The Cellar"  is one of my faves from that era, and I am also amused by "Going Down To Florida".  Makes me wanna try to potty train Chairman Mao.
