have you read my story of the strip search issue? it is on one of the HLA boards and under anonymous. I know how much that sucks. Believe me. I was in PG 52 and thank God I got pulled also. Do you know if they are still doing searches like they used to or not? I would really like to know.

I would like to know where all of my college money went and how someone could talk my parents into paying that much money for such a worthless program. The whole reason I got sent down to HLA was because I was thought to be a stoner. Which, by the way, I was not. After I got pulled they realized I am simply just extremely ADHD and Dyslexic.

If you were referring to me... No I didn't work there. I was a student there for 20 months. Dont go off on the whole disgruntled student thing either because I am going to VCU on a full theatre scholarship and I've got a 4.1 and I surely didn't get there from being at HLA. thank you

Umm.. I was on restriction for two months and three days becuase I wouldn't admit to snorting a chopped up glucose tablet. (Ive never even SEEN a glucose tablet!!)

So you were a staff? I think that is cool that you knew Daryl and all them. They were the reason I was able to stand that place for so long. Jenine was soo amaing also. There were a few staff that made living there bearable. Laura, John (The redhead), those sort of people. I think that is really cool that you were friends with them. But I have to ask you why you were only there for a few months. Staff come and go a lot there, but that is a really short period of time to stay. Were you a counselor or an activities person or what?
PS: Jason was the most amazing black guy ever. Is he still there?

Personally, I didn't really mind the geese. They were promise of other life forms. They were pretty. But they did poop an awful lot.

Most of the kids that are on probation there are on it because they have tried to "walk down the road" or "escape" from the program. They get apprehended, arrested and put on probation.

My GOD woman, do you have a CLUE? There were push ups and more push ups. And then there were front back goes. And enough PT to make you sick. I should know I got sick from dehydration at least 6 times. There were no bathrooms outside until last year when they built the fieldhouse down on Lower Left. Even now, most of the restrictions counselors make the kids "go use the woodline". I remember one incident where R.H. made the girls pick up the goose crap with their bare hands after it rained becuase they wouldn't quit talking at luchtime. He justified his reasons with "they only eat grass, what could it hurt?"

PS: the strip search story and the one before that was me, i just forgot to log on.

Im sorry, I'm not evil. To quote Law and Order: "There are two types of people in this world. Those who are bad people doing bad things, and those people who are truly good, honest people that just end up doing stupid things." I have to disagree. It seems to me that you are a stupid, immoral person doing things that would make God himself think twice about your existance in this world. Everyone is entitled to sin once in a while. DON'T YOU DARE SEND YOUR DAUGHTER TO A PROGRAM! That is the most inconsiderate, intolerable, irresponsible thing that you could to to a person. I should know. I was there. If anyone needs psychological assistance, that would be you. I do hope you become poor enough to have to work, and end up working for a Jewish man from Northside.
