Sorry man! Like you said, yes it was only for us "older students" who could get away with it more easily.
I don't believe these undergrounds existed to such an involved extent as we had it in the "Brotherhood." We were just lucky. Its a long story how it formed but basically one day, when I had been there about 18 months I walked up to Jeff Davis in the dorms and handed him a piece of food I stole from the kitchen and said," Fucking eat it!!" (you're not allowed to eat in the dorms).
After a little intimidation, he ate it and the brotherhood was formed. We snuck out every night, and did whatever we wanted. We requested eachother for every rap and blew people away, while laughing about our con in our dorms over a smoke. We felt bad about being hypocrites, but we figured it was about our sanity.
Oh, yeah- Shanlea, yes I used to hang out in Hermosa, Redondo, Manhattan quite a bit. In fact, I lived on 2nd and PCH right by the "Pitcher House."
