G.,

My other ID is FYS&E&L.

Please review the website http://www.boycottsembler.com and accept my apologies.

I am not sure that I have the ability as any sort of historian.  But, as you seem to have a level head I think it would be cool if some of us come together as a type of 'historian' group and gather information that can be edited on a regular basis.  For example, Wikipedia would be a great online encyclopedia, appointing you as head historian, for people to view a factual history of Straight Incorporated and its full history - all in one place with all information links in it to Mel Sembler, Reagan, predecessors, and etc.

With all this in mind its not beyond visualizing several different things happening with this type of history: museum of cults, historical documents becoming available to different politicians, etc.

But my point is that as 'in your face' as I like to be, the truth is what is important.  Whether its 'in your face' is up to how it is portrayed.  I would like to have a full history of Straight all over again and in length.  Between the different websites I think the information is slightly broken up.

What thoughts ?

Sincerely,
B.

Apparently Saint Paul Insurance Company held the insurance during the Karen Norton / Barnet vs. Straight Inc. case.

I have the really long docket and might return tommorow to find their address.

By 1940 the literacy figure for all states stood at 96 percent for whites. Eighty percent for blacks. Notice for all the disadvantages blacks labored under, four of five were still literate. Six decades later, at the end of the 20th century, the National Adult Literacy Survey and the National Assessment of Educational Progress say 40 percent of blacks and 17 percent of whites can't read at all. Put another way, black illiteracy doubled, white illiteracy quadrupled, despite the fact that we spend three or four times as much real money on schooling as we did 60 years ago.
