syn..
we have 30 confirmed. shooting is actually beginning this weekend as we head north to new england. we will be shooting for the next 6-8 months, or until we capture (no pun intended) everyone. all former elaners with a story to tell are welcome. you have the numbers and you know what to do.

Mike/Syn,

I am participating and writing the subsequent screenplay once footage is shot.  It should be great.  I hope you decide to participate too.  

Credibility is key and I am encouraging the producers to avoid sources that might taint their credibility.

last list you sent me a while back... the list from your dad. is that an accurate list of the people that r participating in this film??????
In my opinion,
I feel if we all we be in this...
we should bond as a group. this isnt really an easy thing to do...
I bet your dreams and hopes is for this documentary to turn out like th Blair Witch Project, something that was independent a type of documentary (even though it wasnt real) to turn big and national.
We all went through this together...
If we were the men and women who were all involved in some kind of abusive thing, and were filming something, then we should UNITE as survivors. yet you are seperating us? Why cant Mike or anyone else get a few VALID emails or phone numbers of other Elan Survivors, to discuss any questions, hopes or fears with? We may even know each other..Like J. Gooberman...or Kiriaki or any of those people...(for example)...
It would make the idea of an invesment, all the way to Phili, more conforting for a female, or a guy with a family? We have no idea, just your word..you know...and who r u really? The guy who survived Elan and documents on these chat boards consistently... Let me know more.

jen u can call our executive producer and he will explain evryhitng to you, we just met with the lawyers and they have advised me to stop posting about the film, the execs number is 215-643-5503, feel free to call collect, i am not permitted (via word form our lawyers to give out names)

Jenny,

Just today, we talked to several more individuals who want to get involved.  The crew is going to Boston tomorrow.  This is a legit project.  I agree with you, we should unite and we will, in Philly in June.  However, I'd imagine (and this is just a guess) that some people don't want to disclose their participation just yet... at least over the Web.
Those who do are more than welcome to... but a lot of people want to keep it on the down-low and the way harassment exists in Elan and Elanalum circles, I don't exactly blame them.

This documentary is going to be great.  I hope you get involved. I am writing the screenplay... ask me any questions you want.  You'll get a straight answer... believe me.

There's been a little pressuring of others.  I shouldn't violate their confidentiality... they can tell you about it.  But I know damn well once this gets underway, there will be troublemakers.  You can't touch this controversial issue without expecting some trouble.
