I'm not a PURE supporter, don't even know what the acronym stands for. I don't think Carey is the boogey man either, I think some of the ways she tries to get her point across SUCK!! She's incredibly bitchy, even to people who say they don't really have a problem with WHAT she's saying, but HOW she's saying it. She was talking about how ISAC is losing it's credibility...I agreed to a certain extent but also pointed out that IN MY OPINION she hurts her own credibility by how she deals/talks with people. I thought I had put up a fairly rational post, seeing some of her points, but getting mine across too and I was met with sarcasm and a condescending tone. It bothered me so I posted about it. Automatically she and others ASSUMED I was a PURE supporter. I'm not. Like I said, don't even know who they are...I'm a survivor of a program and I was concerned about the credibility problem with ISAC as well but also with Carey's. Any discussion I've tried to have with her on this has elicited the same tone, dripping with sarcasm. I don't think Carey has evil intentions, I just think she comes across as a bitch who has selfish intentions. Please note that I did not say that she IS a bitch with selfish intentions...I don't know her so I can't say...I said she COMES ACROSS that way...TO ME. I felt the need to point out that distinction because of her post to me about having somehting to hide because I don't post with a name.
