I think she's a desperate woman facing a lawsuit with insufficient resources who was about to lose *regardless* of the merits of her case because the plaintiffs were pursuing a default judgement without the merits of the case even being heard.
I think that the plaintiffs pushed her into taking whatever lawyer she could get by ignoring her need for a continuance.
Their right to do that, legally---it's just part of the game. Their right to try to spin a desperate woman taking whatever legal help she could get in a pinch as some sort of evil collaboration, too.
It's the right of anybody with eyes and brain to see that whether Carey is a saint, a sinner, or somewhere in between along with the rest of us, to recognize the spin of one group of combatants for exactly what it is---spin.
Carey isn't my favorite person, but I'm not going to get drawn into somebody's spin on one side or another of a lawsuit where both sides reek a bit.
And you, Anon, look like a partisan in this lawsuit on the PURE side.
