Jim,

How on earth did Clare go for someone as poorly spoken as you?  I'm sorry, but if I had a nickel for everytime someone threatened to sue anyone on one of these Web sites, I could retire rich.

Like I said, I like Clare, but you're really being obnoxious.

Jim, OK, everyone else has the problem, not you.  We're just all assholes and you're the voice of reason.  Grow up.  I was trying to help you.

i never said i didnt have my own problems.but we sent are nicole there and she is now in college.my son jessie which just came homew and is doing great thanks to them.my point is elan was a bad place back then i would have never sent my kids there then. the reason i cant relate to u people is u have lied about my faimly and alot of other good people.the old elan died with joe the new elan works look at the results it speaks for itself.if u want to act like grown ups i will if u dont this site is just abunch of bullshit.because it shows u dont care about kids enough to hear about the change.

If you want to be treated like a grown-up, please learn how to spell like one so that we can understand your posts.

no, it shows we care enough not to ship our kids off to someplace for strangers to fix him.

So what you're saying is that we should ignore all the other people that say that it is still fairly bad and just take your word for it that all is well???  I think not.

Jim,

I'm not saying that Elan may be less abusive compared to the old days but the only person telling lies about your family is some guy named Nazi who is no longer here.  Jordan, Marina, Art, Syn, myself and everyone else have not said abusive or untrue things about Clare.  We should not be targets for your hostility.  Telling others to grow up and face the music doesn't work.  Your major contact with Elan since you left, I'm sure, has been Clare who, from a director's perspective, would only give a certain view of the place.  Like every Elan staff member, she has been completely unapologetic about the errors of the "new Elan" or any other Elan for that matter.

You've defended your family and that's fine.  Beyond that, don't pick on others.

Jim,

That's fine and I certainly hope it's applicable to your kids.  As far as "nothing good to say," what you have to understand is that this is very much a site to note the negative components of Elan.  There's another site, Elanalum.com, that takes the positives and negatives into account but is usually more about the alumni getting reacquainted than anything else.

Take it easy,
Pete
