I find it very disturbing that there is no participation in this thread at all, except blatant threadjacking . Does anyone remember why Whooter started this thread, I bet not. Fornits member Ursus was very instrumental. Folks you can ignore this thread all you want but please no this in the words from, "Watzlawicks first axiom of communication", ‘One cannot not communicate’.
Your lack of communication says, " you don't care and are selective of the children you will advocate for". Nice!!!
Jeesh now I thought that Paul said, "my school sent me to Daytop" and I've heard this from other posters that there schools were instrumental in placing them in a program. We have had multiple conversations just recently concerning what public schools can handle insofar as special needs children, JRC sparked a lot of this conversation.
But since whooter initiated this thread well by golly were not going to have anything to do with it, because he is being disingenuous. Naw I don't think so, I think if you want to see the parallels with public schools, treatment centers, wilderness and special schools you'll see them, if you want to be stubborn you'll refuse to acknowledge, public schools fall under the umbrella of the TTI. If they don't they should.

No he is not slime Joel, he is very intelligent and I enjoy watching him spin you like a top.
You folks just can't stand someone as intelligent and articulate as whooter amongst your ranks. It fucking drives you folks crazy. Joel your never going to out maneuver him in a debate or as you say, "stump him".
I've been watching for months now, one after another trying to outfox him, trip him up ect....and after several failed attempts y'all react in the same way, you attack him by calling him names, question his integrity, make disgusting remarks concerning his son, ect..... It is like being in rehearsal just before the show.
Whooter, Suck It and myself hold a more open minded view on the TTI, none of us condone abuse nor are advocating for any program that is purposely and willfully conducting this behavior. There is no collaboration of any kind with a Corporation going on here. (what are you fucking nuts)
Our crime is we don't buy into is this "group think" that there is a major conspiracy going on amongst the owners of the TTI's programs and schools to purposely circumvent the truth of what is happening and keep it from the parents. What you are asking me to understand and believe is they know there programs/schools don't work, that they brainwash and abuse the children emotionally, mentally and physically for no apparent reason other then for their own sick pathological reasons.
That all the professionals within the TTI, nobody knows what the fuck their doing but you folks here on Fornits.
Not one of you have come forward and stated that your are a Doctor of Physiologically, Psychologically, Pathologically ect......some of you have hinted that you work in the mental health field but (why are you asking whooter where he works/who he works for, if your not willing to divulge) have not stated so.
Listen having experience because you were a resident doesn't make you a expert on the TTI or better yet of behavior modalities.
I was a resident of Elan and frankly I don't believe that hellhole would even qualify as part of the TTI's programs and schools, when I was there. Elan was so unique in it's torment of children, that I believe it disqualifies me to argue what are the benefits of programs in todays world as I believe it does for many of us here. Especially folks 40 years yrs old on up. Once again I am not saying that there aren't children out there experiencing abuse at the hands of staff in programs today.
