Oh hell no, bitch! What are you gonna do? Send me to the program! Just that statement you made tells me that you are 100% grade A WWASP program parent material! You don't like the truth so you wanna "get me help", get me doped, up, shipped off, etc. Just like you did to your boys! You don't like the fact they're TEENAGERS! Normal, living, breathing TEENAGERS, so you dumped 'em off, then tried to be the hero and save them. You're a sorry bitch. Sorry ass bitch. You want SOMEONE to validate your opinion, just like the family reps did when your boys were in Dundee! "Oh yes, Ms. Bock, you made the right decision, your sons would have died if they weren 't here, please send me 3,000 dollars, they're being fed 5-star culinary masterpieces and playing polo in the lawn, if you need to sell your house to pay for it, I know of an excellent realtor, his name is.... Kay.... Ken Kay I believe...." Give me a fucking break! How multifaceted of him! How versitile! That is SO interesting how a mini-mart attendant can incarcerate your child and sell your house! Oh, and if THAT's not enough you can sell your soul as well! TO THE DEVIL HIMSELF! You sorry bitch! You don't like to deal with reality, so you write me off as needing help! I just tell it straight, bitch, get used to it, or get over it.

It is obvious, Melissa does not know what she is talking about. Maybe some one should clue her in on what reality is.  It is also obvious that she will make up and say just about anything in order to realize (and I use her words) her "conquest."

Melissa,
I am profoundly respectful of your ability to direct your anger where it is deserved: The program(s) and their supporters. I just read this in another thread :
"Why does my brother or sister have to go so far away?
They?ve got to have a shock, a big change to wake them up."

What is shock, except Trauma?  I was never in a program myself.  I am married to someone who tried for many years to convince himself that the program (Straight, Inc.) he was in "saved his life."  It took him almost 20 YEARS to realize that it was Brainwashing and trauma-based treatment in order to effect change. (That's how brainwashed he was) It is all outward change based on fear.
You may need help in order to get over what the program did to you.  You are probably dealing with PTSD.    I hope that your parents are supportive of you now. I can understand where you are coming from, even though I haven't been there.  I wish you well and go ahead and tell the truth in court!       We need more teens that have not have the statute of limitations pass them by to help stop the abuse.

So, R. Sherman, you are a psychiatrist / psychologist, are you making an assumption diagnosis?

Now if that is not an oxymoron, I don't know what is.  R. Sherman, get a grip!

If Melissa ever wants anyone to take her seriously she is going to have to learn, first to get her facts straight and second how to talk to people so that they will listen.

Maybe you should take your own advice and learn how to talk to people.  Btw - what the hell is YOUR agenda?  You seem to be pro WWASP, or maybe your just pro cary (or pro scary). LOL - sometimes I see people an I thank God that that person isn't me.  I've thought that damn near everytime I read one of your poses

Dear Carey,
No, I am not a psychologist and I did not make a diagnosis.  I was simply trying to be supportive of a survivor.  A careful reader would notice the words "may" and "probably."  I simply based this on the fact that many of the survivors of other harmful programs have admitted to being diagnosed with 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.'  I have talked to a number of survivors of various programs.  They may come from different programs, schools, drug treatment programs, whatever, but the stories all contain the same things (isolation, intimidation, regression, and just plain fear.)  Carey, bless your heart, there is nothing new about this at all.  It's not about revenge. It's not about the parents. It's not about "15 minutes of fame".  It's not about the money, that keeps survivors (and some parents and other friends) posting here and elsewhere, it is about recovering dignity and self worth by letting the world know what is going on in secret in order to stop the abuse.   None of them deserved this. Not one. And Melissa deserves to be supported in her fight.

R. Sherman, like I said, Melissa needs help.  She has attacked me verbally, stated things about my case that are totally false, called my boys "losers".  She has lost touch with reality.  She is making things up in her head and them spewing them out.  Go back and read what she said I did.  Is she way off base or what?

If this is her way of obtaining self worth and dignity, it sure seems strange.

Maybe R. Sherman is basing this on what we hear all too often about program returnees. For instance -

"They were terrified of the possibility of going back because of what they said goes on there," the psychiatrist told The Tico Times this week during a phone interview. "If what the boys say is true, they are both suffering legitimate stress disorder."

The entire article can be found here -

I find defending Melissa borders on being co-dependent. I get that she is a spoiled brat that refuses to set her own boundaries. It's clear in her writing that she is using, her own admission, and that's okay too.  What's that saying - based on results she got exactly what she intended both in the program and on this board.  PTSD - only if she had it prior to going into her program.  Go help someone who is open to it, she's clearly not.

My boys have been diagnosed with PTSD by a doctor.  Has Melissa?  I can tell you this, my boys are not on these internet forums spewing in the name of treatment.

Melissa can say anything she wants.  She can taunt me all she likes...but she is not hurting me, she is hurting herself.

Carey if you would stop bogarting the computer all the time and let you boy's have a chance, maybe they would be "spewing in the name of treatment".  BTW - are you related to that psycho bitch Ann Coulter?  Damn, Melissa, you are right! Carey is easy to pick on.
