Interesting. From
their FAQ it says:
"Most parents that have learned and used the TOUGHLOVE® program have credited it with vastly improving, and in some cases saving, their lives. Many school administrators, counselors and educators endorse the Program because it helps their communities come together outside the school system. The TOUGHLOVE® Program has been endorsed by many public and political leaders, including the Governor George W. Bush and former First Lady Nancy Reagan."
Now THATS a vote of confidence. One endorsement coming from a crackhead who fucked up half the middle east, and the other coming from one who though Straight Inc. was just the cat's meow.
But wow. What's handy is they have this little map feature which lists "tough love" groups all over the place. Hm. There is even one near me:
City: Annandale/Alexandria
Tuesday 7pm
Peace Lutheran Church
6362 Lincolnia Road
Alexandria, VA 22312
I might go down there when I get back to the states and see what these "seminars" are all about.
Don't worry fellow Fornitscators.
There is a group nearby, where you too can get the help you need!
OOH.. wonderful. Want to know who started this little hate group:
In 1979 David and Phyllis York, both trained family therapists and substance abuse counselors, created the original TOUGHLOVE® Program.
They, quite literally,
wrote the book on "tough love"
If I remember correctly, their kids aren't too fond of them for some odd reason.
Yup. here it is:
