Exposing Corrupt Child Advocates

May I suggest you borrow a tactic used by these so-called child/parent advocates and begin collecting personal STORIES from parents and others who have used their services and did not have a cough-cough ... positive experience?

Second, Scheff is reported to have placed many kids in WWASPS programs both before and after she created PURE.

It should not be too difficult to find survivors who were referred by PURE. Heck, some might even be members of the TURLEY lawsuit from what I gather.

It should also be fairly easy to locate parent volunteers who might have worked for PURE at one time, and became disenchanted or otherwise unhappy with Sue Scheff and the quality of the programs she refers to (some examples that come to mind: Sorensons, Whitmore, Red Rock Ranch Academy).  

I would begin by collecting affadavits and testimonials.  

Ask ISAC, HEAL, TAUSA, CAFETY, other WWASPS survivor websites for their assistance in notifying their readers of this very important issue and publishing your contact info on their websites to help facilitate awareness and action.

Good luck SCLdropout!  Your timing couldn't be better as this is an issue that is being investigated by several journalists from what I hear through the grapevine so hopefully, they will find your website and the videos to aid in their research.

I think it is real important that we make it clear what defines a true "advocate".

An advocate is someone who has no "interest" in programs.  In other words, it is someone who does not profit (receive financial gain) from teen placment.

An advocate must be someone who is pure  (not PURE) in their motives.   If they are payed for placements, referrals, transportation or for any means related to the industry, then they are not an advocate as that would be a conflict of interest.

I was referred to GT, a second gen. straight inc. by my 'child advocate', a GAL or gaudian ad litem. It was a drug rehab. I never did drugs. I was not given a drug test. I was not professionally evaluated. I was kidnapped and lied to. My child advocate, Jean Eitel, never asked me if I did drugs or even talked to me or asked me anything. I do not know if she recieved compensation for referring me or if she referred any other child. I do know her first husband was a judge and that the laws in FL make it very easy to send a child 'away'. She is now living in VA. I was in the program from 87-89. I will never speak to my parents again.

So I want to know, who are these parents? Why did my parents find out about WWASPS from an overly eager parent (my parents say they flat out lied) to sell them the program?

WWASP pays out 1000 dollars per referral OR a free month's tuition ($3000 value). (Pure vs. WWASP transcripts once again)

I had tried to contact Jean Eitel to see if she was aware of how evil the program was and to ask her why she thought I was a candidate for such a place...but she does not returned any calls or e-mail. As for my parents I have yet to recieve an appology or any aknowledgement of thier part in these crimes against humanity. My step-mother was involved with the program for over 10 years! I could have really used a real child advocate to protect me from my step-mother and the program...instead the one I got helped facilitate me being systematically tortured and abused. Thanks for the PTSD!
