I can honestly say I hate my kid.
Of course I love him as I am required to, but its getting to be a fine line at this point!!

This kid this past year has--
stole my car; crashed it doing a  grand  in !damage!
getting straight F's this year, literally a 0.00 grade point
arrested twice this year for possession
failed one court drug test already, two more failure he goes to juvie again for a month at least
been involuntarily committed to psych ward for three days for tripping out on LSD at school

He hangs out with his shit friends.. doing shitty things. I dont   even know !where! he is right now-its so goddamn frustrating. The kids !bitch mom is sitting at home drinking herself to death, self pitying her pathetic life and having such bad kids.
I had enough at this point.
I want to know how I can get him in a program or something.

I don't have a lot of money. I am a trucker by trade and am gone for three weeks out of the month.. but his alcoholic mom is not cutting it anymore this kid needs some help or structure.. mainly someone to !kick !him in the !ass! and let him know get his life together.
this kid will be dead soon or in jail anyways. so your girly sob stories of abuse don't scare me. I'd rather this boy get hit a few times than end up on a cold slab having to identify him some night down the road. Im sure you parents understand and maybe the kids do not but they will one day.
please only serious replies this is life or death business here and I dont have time to play games.

All I can tell you is what you should already know; if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. That's the trouble. Not only will these programs not help your son nor keep him safe, they'll also very likely fuck him up worse than juvy or jail or what have you. I'm not kidding, I'm not being expansive. I'm just telling you what I've found out after 20 years looking up old program friends and meeting others who've been through similar programs. I can remember some major league screw ups from my neighborhood and school. I never hear of those people being junkies or ex cons and I don't know of a single one who's killed themselves. Just the usual stuff, some good, some bad but pretty normal lives. That's just not the case w/ program vets.

You want serious advice? Ok, here's what I'd do in your shoes. Register him as homeschooled (check w/ your local homeschool support groups, hold your nose and ignore the fanatic advocate sanctimony) and just get the nitty gritty on paperwork requirements. It's usually about an hour's worth of paper work once a year and that's it. Pay the $50 to have him as a passenger in your truck and invite him to come out and see some landscape for a couple of weeks. Even if he won't go for it it sure would be nice to be asked.

I'm sorry there isn't any sure fire, God in a bottle solution to your problem. But that's life. I'm just here to tell you that the Program is not at all what it appears to be, it's really satanic!

Any moron can see that the entire problem starts with you being a truck driver and never home. Why the hell should this kid respect you if he doesn't even know you? Be home more than 1 week a month and it will make a difference. (if this post is even a real person). With parents gone or alcoholics this kid raised himself. As far as he is concerned he is doing just fine, (but hes not). BE there and it will make a difference. Act like you actually give a shit about him, and smack the hell out of yourself of even THINKING that you hate your kid. Thats horrible.

At the rate he's going, he's going to end up in juvie...and that's probably a lot better for him than the so-called home he has now. Juvie will be less harmful than Program, and it might even help him figure out some things and decide he doesn't want to live the rest of his life in 'the system.'

Programs do literally nothing, and you say you hate your kid.

If you don't give a fuck, why not just abandon him instead of blowing insane money on a program that WILL NOT WORK?

His best chance would be if you totally took your hands off him and left his life up to himself, because you're clearly a fucking gigantic, epic failure of a parent if he's digressed this far, and you openly say you hate your own offspring.

And, for that matter, a program would not only guarantee to mess him up worse, but it just might make him mad enough to kill you!

Well, shit, if hes destined to die, might as well use that program - it'll take money out of your hands and he'll take YOU out before he dies!  :rofl:

If you for a change would become a father then you have three options:

1) Drag him down to the policestation two days in a row, let him fail the tests and get him locked into the juvie, where they can clean him up.

2) Redraw him from school and start homeschooling in the back of your truck. Buy him pink underwear, pink jumpsuit and let him only wear slippers, when you let him stay in the truck alone. Have some boots locked up together with your money. Get "RUNNER - CALL 911" printed on the back of the jumpsuit. They do so at Excel academy in Texas, so you can do it also.

3) Take time off - 3 weeks at least - rent a cabin in a remote place. Get someone to drive you there and leave supplies for three weeks. Wait for him to detox. Listen to him when he starts to talk sense after 5-7 days.

Those three options are way cheaper than a wilderness course or a TBS. But the first thing, you have to do is to forgive him and start act as a father by being close to him for a longer time.

These are some real-life, down to earth options that this father has been presented. Although, I hardly believe he will follow the advice.
Look at how he speaks of his son's mother, he calls her a "bitch" and an "alcoholic". He says he is gone three weeks out of the month!
Which makes all of these options unavailable, because they take the time of the parent. He doesn't have enough money to pay someone else to do it.
Looks like your only option is to buy the kids drugs, let him get high and pretend you are all cool, and then turn him into the law. Get him into a state run program, it's your only chance at this point. If you need to do it twice, you can pay one of his "shitty" friends to get him high, and report to you when this happens, so you can turn him in the second time. He will not take your bait the second time.
Take this advice to heart Browser69, quit your job and go home and help your son, that is his only chance. Help your son be helped in a state program.
