Your profile says you’re an attorney FJ.
Is that in agreement?

Doesn’t really square with

You're not giving all of the information, just choosing the parts that are not in HLA's favor. I heard from a friend who's a lawyer the judge actually allowed the dismissal on some of the claims, but not all. My lawyer-friend also told me this decision isn't very valuable right now anyway.

Nope, no anonymous posts. Definitely out of agreement.

Wanna cop to being out of agreement?

Do you really have a friend at DHR? Who? What do you really know? You said

4/3- My source at the state told me the state will be licensing HLA within the next month. This is after investigation of records, facility, etc.

Eight days later, you didn't sound so certain:

4/11- The state granted an exemption every year since the opening, it's perfectly natural to challenge this. I don't think anyone embraces when government shows up on your door. The fact is, they'll probably be licensed soon which will actually bring in more business.

Is this what you were doing when you said:

I know the story about you and your son. It's not the healthiest relationship, so I'm not sure what your son told you, but it's wrong. If the students weren't getting the right food, I think something would have turned up in their investigation. This is why I know you're son is wrong. I hope he's doing well. I hope you have a better relationship with him than in the past.

I would love the opportunity to invite you to say that to my face.

Anyone else want to venture a guess?
Let's see, are your initials JM? LP?

I'm not so sure it's Jeff. He's an arrogant prick no doubt, but his writing skills are atrocious. It's hard to believe he's the Assistant Headmaster with the writing skills of a borderline illiterate.

But then again, we do have Multiple Personality Disorder going on here so maybe one of those personalities can actually write well!

Is he still working at HLA in that capacity?

If he is, I believe that would be an ORS violation for Ridge Creek, where he's listed as Director with ORS.  If he's got another full-time job with another business entity he certainly is not available to perform his job at RC (I believe the regs say he must be at the facility full time or have an appropriate designee to fill in, but nobody else there is qualified to be the designee).

Deb, any thoughts/documentation on this matter?

Joe Stapp is the Asst. Headmaster at HLA now.  Jeff is solely at RCI.

That's correct. One of them has to be present 24/7. Why isn't his bio on RC site? Who is the designee?

Not "accessible", but one of them must be "on duty" at the facility at all times.
Who's your designee FJ?

Function Junction is out of line!
« Reply #9 on: April 19, 2007, 07:57:56 PM »
Function Junction has gone too far.  His comments on this site are far too well-thought out and logical.  His attacks on Deborah, Robert Bruce and Dysfunction Junction are completely inappropriate.  Not to mention his references to poor Cassandra.

Just because Deborah lost custody of her son in a political environment that rewards custody almost exclusively to mothers does not mean she is not a truly caring and loving mother.

No, wait,

Just because Robert Bruce spends his days at home in his bath robe while his wife supports him does not make him less of a man.  His homophobia is understandable since he spends his day with his penis in one hand and a bible in the other for fear his self gratification would be viewed as homosexual love.  He is truly a knowledgeable on these subjects.

No, wait,

Just because Dysfunction Junction can't hold down a job because he can't put down the hash pipe does not mean that he does not have the best interests of the students.  I'm sure he is an expert in "cultivating" all kinds of health relationships.

No, wait,

Cassandra is a carrying and considerate advocate of children and adolescents.  Despite her lengthy arrest record, her illigitimate children and her ex-husbands in jail, she has a solid head on her shoulders and can advise others how to raise their children.

You four should write a book.  I have suggested chapters for you with no royalty charge.

Deborah:  How to lose custody of your child in 10 easy steps.

Robert Bruce:  Homophobia on one hand and religion on the other.

Dysfunction Junction:  How to smoke your own garden.

Cassandra:  So your adolescent is pregnant; don't blame the drugs or alcohol because it is probably your fault (this doesn't apply to me!)

Keep up the good work.  You are all shining examples of what America's future holds.

Well, you certainly wrote the book on slander, a chapter anyway.
Your boss is feeding you inaccurate information, no surprise.

The people on this site fighting for rights of children locked up in these hell holes have been a salvation for me as a survivor of HLA. Although my defense of them is not neccissary because their actions and words on this site speaks for itself, I still feel compelled to say this.

Deborah, RobertBruce, Dysfunction Function and the like have been the first ones since this godawful experience that I feel have truly understood and empathized with my ordeal. They are the ones who continue to stand in the face of people like you taking cheap shots and desperately trying to defame their character. Your efforts to invalidate their arguments solely so that you can continue with your blatant and dispicable abuse and exploitation of children for monetary gain are worthless. The people who matter certainly know the truth.
