My daughter told me they were pretty intense at the time.  She remembers getting a lot of support from peers who had gone thru the life steps before her, the night before.  The kids were really supportive of each other, she made a lot of friends there and did a ton of growing during that year.

That's why it really is pointless to continue this.  It's like that whole rape analogy.  Yeah, I ended up being stronger but it doesn't mean it was a good thing.  LifeSteps are emotional rape.

Good analogy.

Thats fine..... I have been accused of dismissing evidence.  It is clear it goes both ways here.  My evidence is just as valuable and credible as anyone elses, it just isnt as popular here and I understand that but it is fact and should not be ignored just like the kids stories of having a bad experience should not be ignored.

I'm looking for GTBF's description (I think it was his) of LifeSteps.  Pretty scary stuff.

If you skip everybody who takes you to task for your utterances, you're gonna be a bored motherfucker with nothing to read, and no reason to open your cock-trap, you poison asshole. I'll say this for you, you're a relentless dickhead.

I apologize.  I was only joking.  Seriously.  Believe that.  Or not.

either way it was intense and I could tell a lot of energy was released !!  I learned a couple new words out of it, not sure I can use them at home or work, well maybe at work!

If you have reason to use the word "cock-trap" at work, I'd consider looking for a new occupation that doesn't involve knee pads.

No it's not.  You're "evidence" is to simply say "it helped my daughter" or "it helps some kids".  Our evidence is stories about what happened in there (GTBF's description of LifeSteps) and then backed up with links to why that's been proven to be dangerous.

Bob, I have to admit it was funny, I saved a copy. I am not going to scan in every article I read or provide evidence to back up my every opinion. If this causes you heart burn, skip over my posts like I do with yours. Thats one of the reasons they put the persons ID/Name next to the post to help identify those posters you are most interested in, its a great system. Try it out!!

Your every opinion? Cindy you don't back up any  of your opinions. I simply don't understand why you demand others back up their claims yet you refuse to back up any of your own. Again the purpose of fornits is to provide information, you're simply providing propoganda. Whatsmore you refuse to acknowledge when you've proven wrong. You keep talking about adding something to the discussion. You add nothing as you have no real information to share. If you want to discuss the experiences you had with your daughters group fine, but limit it to WHAT YOU EXPERIENCED you cannot talk about anything else because one you don't know anything else, but two you are unwilling to look shit up. Until then you shouldnt talk about anything.

In the meantime I'd like you to simply back up your statements regarding your claim that I felt that the best way to handle kids with problems is to ignore it. If you cannot I'd like you to acknowledge you were wrong.

You let me know if you can handle that.

That's the problem with WHO: he thinks HIS OPINIONS are actually "evidence."
NOT!

Being truly honest is no means of survival in those places. Your true inner-feelings are to be avoided. This is what it takes to comply with the images this structure will accomodate. But things aren't what they seem when they're partially hidden behind walls of pretense built for peace of mind...the barriers between us were forever maintained by our acceptance of the roles the group chose to define.

Yes but you evidence is stories also, it was based on one persons account of what happened ,GTBF's.  Mine is based on different accounts.  I think they are similar but not all together the same.

Very true, hence why he sees no reason to back them up. His opinions are as he deems, enough.

Ours are stories backed with evidence that the type of 'treatment' described is abusive.

See the difference?

We don't need this cultural division, it upholds the self-interest on which the system feeds. A deconditioned consciousness of mutual respect is the only way to cure this disease.
