Guys... Gals.... everyone

Just stop replying. Shit. Why not go do something productive like get a home brewing kit and make some pale ale?
.

Pale Ale?  Like what Bud Lite? Whimpy stuff, swill...... Try something with a little more muscle.  Kick it up a notch to an Amber Ale, like a "Sam's or Fat Tire"

Bud lite is (barely) a lager, dumbass.

Pale ales are not necessarily 'whimpy' by any means, its merely a catchall classification for beers made with ale yeasts that are made primarily by pale malts and focus on hoppyness instead of maltyness.

At any rate, comparing Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale to bud lite is about as stupid as every other analogy that comes out of you...   especially when they actually bother to include caramel malt so its not just a one dimensional hop-tea with some alcohol

ooooow, now you went 'n dun it, I think them is fightin words...... I feel some muscles flexing around here...

I still have to stick with a Sam's or Fat Tire.  We had this guy in college who loved this beer called "Pearl" I think and used to bring his own.  I think it was from Texas or Southwest somewhere.  It was the nastiest stuff I have ever had,  not sure if they still make.  But I think everyone has their own taste.........

You still can't segregate lagers from ales... and the easiest to find micro, PERIOD, from bud lite, for that matter.

At least you managed to find a decent amber ale... yet somehow missed SNPA, which utterly amazes me.

You from colorado and just living in a small-world or did someone have to shove it down your throat?

At any rate, I don't like such underhopped sweetish stuff. I miss Bridgeport's IPA...

Bridgeport's IPA, Never had it.  SNPA You mean "Sam adams Pale Ale" ?  Yes I have had it, it is pretty good.  Lately I have been gravitating to Sams Octoberfest and WinterBrew which has been great, Magic Hat if I need a change and especially any of the Sammy Smiths.  I will hid these..... I know that is a bad sign, The Taddy porter  (little strong), Nut Brown ale or Oatmeal Stout have always been outstanding??

Back up your claims Who. Just once.

Quote:
Exactly!! So at least we agree the car needs work !! 6 months ago you wouldn?t agree the car needed fixing

Provide the statement I have made which suggest this to be true.

Provide numbers and statements to prove this claim.

Yeah, you finally got one right.  Pearl is a Texas brew, as in David Allan Coe's "If That Ain't Country (I'll kiss Your Ass)."

'(my daddy) drank Pearl from a can and Jack Daniel's black, chewed tobacco from a mail pouch sack...'

Also, we missed a salient point about yeast, lager and ale: not only different ingredients, but different brew temps and different yeast that float or sink (among other differences).

Hey, you guys know your beer here.  I would have pegged everyone as a Bud or Old Milwaukee?s best drinker.  I brew my own once in a while, but I am not a student of beerology.

(Speaking of manhood here, *ahem*) I drink Crown Royal straight up on the rocks.  Now that's some good hooch.

Been known to dabble with the brews from time to time though.  Enough to tell the swill from the good juice anyway.

You're not a student of anything, you hate learning just as much as you hate being proven wrong.

For example:

That kind of relentlessness can only be spawned from a Private Kiddie Prison.  RB is tenacious.

SA is not SN. SIERRA NEVADA pale ale is iconic... Sam Adams's pale ale (and I don't know if they still make it) doesn't hold a candle to it.

 When FOOD LION'S stock it, and you ain't had it yet, you're behind, bub.

Also, I would like to thank DJ for pointing out comparing a pale ale to a... 'lager' like budlight is beyond retardation.

That is good stuff, out of my league, though.  That brings back memories for me.  I dated a girl who drank Crown Royal I think thats what it was.  She had hundreds of these little purple bags around her place which she kept everything in, change, cosmetics, condoms.  I think I overdosed once in college and can only handle a Drambuie once in a while. Mostly Beer and Wine.  Father in law had an extensive wine cellar and I learned how to appreciate some nice wines enough (as you said)  to tell the swill from the good juice anyway.

And I knew she was easy!

Gotta love those whiskey swilling wenches for an easy quickie!
