Based on the lack of evidence to show that any practitioner has ever sent a kid to a TBS, it is reasonable to conclude that European professionals are not referring any kids to TBS's in more than a tiny fraction of cases.

Since there seems to be no evidence to show that this is ghappening, you'll have to show some evidence that it is.

So, I'll have to settle for the fact that I was absolutely right about American practiotioners and the only "evidence" you supplied as a refutation was a lie that you made up (you didn't even have a clue as to how many practiioners there are in the US - you said 10,000, but the APA ALONE has over 150,000 - you're not even in the ballpark).  And, since you know so painfully little even about the number of professionals in the US (which you underestimated by at least 30-fold - a HUGE MISTAKE) you obviously know nothing about how they do their business.

So, I'm satisfied that you were 100% wrong and that the only "evidence" you supplied was something you made up.

Ha, Ha Ha, nice research DJ.  All right, we can call it quits, I'll let you off the hook.
I think we made a hit to Gingers server with about 6 pages or so.

There AREN'T any, Who.  There are no programs to support.  How can people support something that doesn't exist?  That's a silly notion.

Not to mention that you've conceeded the point in regard to America where programs DO exist and are not supported by professionals.

Still waiting for you to give the basis of your remarks that there are 10,000 professionals practicing in the US and 98.5% of them support programs like you said.  Please, cite your sources like I have.

There are many programs around the world. A professional can recommend and send a child out of country.  I already gave you two first hand examples.

Like I said, your "first hand examples" can be discarded because you lie too much about everything.  How could I possibly know that you just didn't make that example up, just like you did when citing the number of professionals in practice?

I mean, c'mon, I can't believe anything you say.

As far as "many programs around the world," I found none.  If there were "many" don't you think there would be evidence thereof?  There isn't.

No need.  I fully supported my claims with citations.

Now, as for you, please CITE where you came up with your numbers.  POST THE LINKS.  Or you can finally admit you made them up.  Either way.

No, Odie.  I'm saying there are no "TBS's" or "EG" "schools" outside the US save for the ones run by US corporations, like WWASPS.

There are boarding schools everywhere, but teen lockups, TBS's and EG seem to be strictly American phenomena.

So your professional position is that kids have never been referred to TBS from other countries into US schools and vice versa and there are no TBS's outside the US.

Hmmm.  I will let you think about that one before I hold you to it.  I would rather avoid another 6 pages of flame.

No, that's what YOU are SAYING I said.

Use the quote button or don't bother characterizing what I say because you don't exactly have a good record with accuracy - you lie about everything.

I already know that some kids come from other countries to TBS's - I had one on my caseload at HLA.  However, he wasn't referred by any professional.  His folks hit the website and sent him, as is the case with most kids at TBS - they've never been diagnosed and referred by a therapist.  65% are referred by EdCons according to statistics from NATSAP.

The only TBS's (really teen lockups, not schools - not even pretend schools like ASR) that I have been able to locate outside the US are owned and operated by US corporations.

So, again, CITE YOUR SOURCE for your claims that 98.5% of professionals support and refer to programs.  You've already conceeded the point and abandoned that statement, but you never said why you won't cite your source that led you to to post such utter nonsense in the first place.

SHOW YOUR WORK or admit you lied.

And it hasn't been 6 pages of "flaming."  It's been six DAYS of you avoiding accountability for what you said.  You're supposed to be an adult, but you act like a recalcitrant child.  That's not a flame - it is evidenced by your BEHAVIOR.

CITE THAT SOURCE or admit you made it up and I'll stop asking.  The only way you'll ever get a modicum of respect or credibility is to admit you lied, make it right and THEN move on.  What's funny is that if this were your kid lying to face over and over after she was caught red-handed you'd have her locked up in a program in a heartbeat.  Why can't you hold yourself to the standards to which you hold a pubescent girl?  Pretty sad, my man, pretty sad.

The 2 that came to ASR were referred by therapists in their home country,  so the professionas in other countries do refer, it is now a question of how many.
We need to quantify if that number is better than 50% that support your position.

You can name call all you want DJ, but the focus is on you supporting your statements and it doesnt look good.
I wont brow beat you like you have done me all day and call names.  Just want you to step up and defend your statement.

So how are you going to quantify the number of professionals in other countries and how many take your position or not.

The child from England was seeing a therapist for a few years, per the father and recommended SUWS and ASR.  The child was tested at a local hospital prior to travel.  I remember this because they were stressed about not making it here in time to start wilderness.  The others child?s? direction was talked about because the child was from a well known family and all of us parents would exchange stories of our struggles.

"You had approx 130 people sign the petition well lets say 150 to give you the best edge. There are probably 10,000 professionals in the U.S. (I know you compared your position to the whole world, but I dont have time nor the inclination to humor you). So you have 1.5 % of the professionals sign the paper. So if you had 1.5 % ( that agree with you) that leaves 98.5% that don?t. I would call that an over whelming majority."

Who can you explain this quote?  Where did you get your numbers?  You ask others to be specific and they are.  How come you are avoiding answering this simple question for days on end?  You said "98.5%" but it seems to be based on grossly inaccurate numbers.  Why do you continue to stand by this obvious inaccuracy?
