Hmmm.  I will let you think about that one before I hold you to it.  I would rather avoid another 6 pages of flame.

"

No, that's what YOU are SAYING I said.

Use the quote button or don't bother characterizing what I say because you don't exactly have a good record with accuracy - you lie about everything.

I already know that some kids come from other countries to TBS's - I had one on my caseload at HLA.  However, he wasn't referred by any professional.  His folks hit the website and sent him, as is the case with most kids at TBS - they've never been diagnosed and referred by a therapist.  65% are referred by EdCons according to statistics from NATSAP.

The only TBS's (really teen lockups, not schools - not even pretend schools like ASR) that I have been able to locate outside the US are owned and operated by US corporations.

So, again, CITE YOUR SOURCE for your claims that 98.5% of professionals support and refer to programs.  You've already conceeded the point and abandoned that statement, but you never said why you won't cite your source that led you to to post such utter nonsense in the first place.

SHOW YOUR WORK or admit you lied.

And it hasn't been 6 pages of "flaming."  It's been six DAYS of you avoiding accountability for what you said.  You're supposed to be an adult, but you act like a recalcitrant child.  That's not a flame - it is evidenced by your BEHAVIOR.

CITE THAT SOURCE or admit you made it up and I'll stop asking.  The only way you'll ever get a modicum of respect or credibility is to admit you lied, make it right and THEN move on.  What's funny is that if this were your kid lying to face over and over after she was caught red-handed you'd have her locked up in a program in a heartbeat.  Why can't you hold yourself to the standards to which you hold a pubescent girl?  Pretty sad, my man, pretty sad.

"

The 2 that came to ASR were referred by therapists in their home country,  so the professionas in other countries do refer, it is now a question of how many.

We need to quantify if that number is better than 50% that support your position."

because you can't be believed, the number stands at zero.  so far as we know, no kids were refered by professionals outside the united states.  with your track record I want you to provide verifiable sources.  your word is no good about anything.

WOW who...you suuuuuure do seem to have ALOT of contact with program parents...even before they supposedly send their child to ASR/SUWS...and even the foreign ones at that.

How could you POSSIBLY know about so many ASR students and their families if you don't work....I mean shill for them? :???:

If the school is sharing this information with you freely (if you are not in fact an employee/ed con) then I would think that there would be some confidentiality issues here.

"You had approx 130 people sign the petition well lets say 150 to give you the best edge. There are probably 10,000 professionals in the U.S. (I know you compared your position to the whole world, but I dont have time nor the inclination to humor you). So you have 1.5 % of the professionals sign the paper. So if you had 1.5 % ( that agree with you) that leaves 98.5% that don?t. I would call that an over whelming majority."

Who can you explain this quote?  Where did you get your numbers?  You ask others to be specific and they are.  How come you are avoiding answering this simple question for days on end?  You said "98.5%" but it seems to be based on grossly inaccurate numbers.  Why do you continue to stand by this obvious inaccuracy?

"

I have a feeling that The Who failed his statistics and logic classes if in fact he ever took them.

no this was during the time my daughter attended.  The only parents you get to meet are the ones in your childs peer group and maybe a few others who are there visiting or crossing in our visits.  I didnt know any of these families prior to my daughter going.

I dont,we havent addressed these numbers yet.   Yes, that 10,000 number does seem a little low  (maybe way too conservative, probably could add another zero and then some).  When we get to it, maybe DJ can give us a more accurate number since he is in the industry, but we have some unfinished business first, to cover.  The 130 number is a list that DJ gave me from A Start.

Whether it is 99% or 51%, what we need to establish first, is the percent of professionals (in the world) who support sending kids to TBS's and those that dont.

So who gets to decide that you?
You know I cant give out peoples names on the web, there is no way to verify it without exposing some childs name, which isn?t right.  If you cant believe what I say then it ends here for you.  You take the position that no child has ever been referred to a TBS outside of the country, ever?
I know of 2 personally and I have only met a couple of dozen parents.  There is a disconnect somewhere.

There is currently a student at ASR from England. I know this for a fact. You don't need to know her name for verification purposes.

PS I am NOT the who

Well, everyone have a very nice summer.  Our car has arrived, we are off on our travels, my work is done, for now.  I will check in on everyone in September.  I have learned much here over the past year from most of you, I sincerely thank those who shared their experiences and those who had the patience to listen to others opinions which were not in line with their own.  Keep telling your stories, it will help others find the courage to speak up and talk about their experiences, help them heal and ultimately have an effect on the industry in a positive way.  Your work will bear fruit, in time.

Bye

Too many lies to cover up, hide from, spin and deflect.  The workload got too big sweeping all that bullshit under the rug.  It was only a matter of time until the weight of your own dishonesty got the better of you.  Bye.

Could it possibly be true? Is the WHO really going away? Or just going to post under FIG awhile longer?

Nope, TW is off to start his own TBS "business".  He was just testing the waters here.  As a "businessman" he sees the profit potential.  Of course without knowing who he really is we won't ever know when he does it but from reading his posts here and on other threads it is obviously that is what he intends to do if he can

I just don't see how someone that dumb and obvious can actually pull it off.  It takes someone cunning and slick to get around the obstacles and get asses in chairs.  He's just SO PHONY and weird that I can't see him getting the pieces put together.

Now, he COULD pay someone to do it for him...

I like the attachment and spin on his part about 'effecting the industry positively'. Either an EXCELLENT troll, or hes a programmie. Too bad he just cant realize that its simply wrong at the core and its not something that can be fixed. It won't be what it is anymore if its effective and not abusive.

Then, it wouldnt be a program anymore. It would be a boarding school that offered therapy.

CCMGirl on program restraints: "DON\'T TAZ ME BRO!!!!!"

TheWho on program survivors: "From where I sit I see all the anit-program[sic] people doing all the complaining and crying."
