Most of the male population at Elan had no trouble being sexually satisfied at least once a week.

Each night (except for good friday, and superbowl sunday) several female residents from any random house were volunteered.

As these women were sleeping in their own dorms, a crew of three men gained access to the dorms and took with them a bottle of nitrous oxide and two masks.
The masks were placed over the faces of two sleeping women at a time, and the nO2 was then administered which induced sleep at the same level as being sedated for surgery in a hospital.

One male was allowed to have sex with one female, and that female was then douched, washed,  retired for the night, and returned to her dorm room where she awoke the next day with only a subtle subconscious recollection of the events the previous evening.

Theres was a hard-fast rule that each female had a vaginal inspection to be sure she was not either A: infected with drippage
B: menstruating
C: a virgin with hymen intact.

Any visual signs of the above would render the female off limits and she would be returned to her own bed immediately.

Funny, but no Elan female was ever found to be a virgin.

Whos to say masturbating in the shower wasnt the overwhelming fix-all to this issue you apparently chalk up as yet another of the abuses Elan exposes us to?
I cant speak for anyone but myself, but I have to say it wasnt often a sexual urge would strike me while I was shacked up in Elan, but when it did, a five minute shower did the trick.
Is there something too inconceivable about that being the norm?

As for your claim that Elan surpressed the natural urges and activities of 14, 15, 16, and 17 year old boys. Youre certainly polishing one side of the coin quite well.

Generally speaking, children in that age group have little to no sexual experience.
What little they may have had was most likely not a healthy, reasonable, responsible act on their part. In fact, I doubt it would be far fetched to say many of Elans residents had experienced some form of innapropriate or illegal sexual conduct.. in varying degrees from a single occasion, to ongoing abuse, either as a victim, OR a perpetrator.

Elan had no legal choice in the matter as far as how children relate to each other, and how far relationships with the oposite sex could go.
You and your creative twist and spin seems to indicate there were other options or more favorable methods. Thats just plain ignorant.
