Do you ever see any flesh-eating ghouls wandering around in that cemetery..?  :scared:

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

There is nothing to gain. Security does not exist. The self is an illusion.

That reminds me of somethimg someone asked me before...kinda like a modern day koan of sorts..."Do you want freedom or security?" Of course the intellectual answer would be "Freedom"...obviously. Yet interally I found that what I really wanted at the time was "security". At the time I had not fully realized what you said..."Security does not exist" and yet it was all I strived for...'It' was the IDEAL and so the cycle went from there...Interesting.

Regarding the headstone. DZ- It wasn't or rather isn't difficult to know who this person was...they were a relative of mine. The cemetery is an old family (my family) cemetary. I will have to see if i can find the picture I took of it last year while I was there.

Whilst attending Oxford of Emory in Oxford Ga., being true to form I hooked up with the senior chemistry majors and used to score some yummy LSD125---original recipe! I used to camp in the nearby woods for days at a time and used to run across the old cival war cemetaries. I was just in awe by them for some reason. At the time I had not yet used 125 for spiritual reasons, but for the sensations (didn't go for spiritual reasons for another 10 years after that...no original recipe at that time) Only thing I have done like that in recent years is going to the seminole burial mounds, which are even older....amazing how peacefull they are.

Now when I die (now don't think I'm a nut)
Don't want no fancy funeral -- just one like ol' King Tut!

Quote from: "starry-eyed pirate"
Some things can never, will never be articulated.  Some things can only, will only ever be articulated on a drum...

The drum I played at sunset tonight was made by a survivor friend, brother of mine.  I played for about a half hour during the sunset, in my back yard.  Under the great Norwegian Maple tree planted by my great-uncle Richard in about 1939 or there abouts.  As I played I watched and listened.  I saw the clouds against the sunset.  I watched as the shadow fell.  I heard a mother through an open window 2 houses up tell her child not to touch; "DO. NOT.TOUCH!"  I laughed to myself.  I watched a rabbit cautiously move across my neighbors yard.  {Maybe he's heard of me.  ::dove::
