Thought you mentioned not long ago you own a camaro Jim? what year? I once had a 69 i got for a restore project, but never had the time and sold it. I am very anixious to see chevy's 2009 camaro come out on the market. They did some incredible things in making it look like the 69. Even the interior looks vintage.

I have an 89RS that's a work in progress. I would eventually like to run it at my local track. Lots of welding to do this summer hopefully.

It's originally a v-6 car, nothing special,I have a 350 and a TH 400 for it,but I'm not 100% sure I want to swap if I can run it in 6 cyl class at dirt track. Shame to waste it though, the body is very straight.Do I know you?

You're damn right about that one Jim. Had a new born on the way at the time, and it was taking up space. I do have a buddy that has a 69 yanko he wants to some day fully restore, right now its in peices and needs good amount of body work. He hinted to me several times in the past I should just take this car and finish it for him. I heard a fully restored Yanko is worth big bucks. He also has  a 57 convertable impalla, looks the same as the 57 plymouth fury, headlights and all. Dont know why, they are 2 different companies. Anyway that car is parked in a garage with a ton of crap stacked ontop of it. The body is in very good condition and has no rot whatsoever. The interior is a different story. My son has nightmares about the car from time to time, he's seen the movie Christine and when he goes into the garage and wonders around he sees the headlights and gets scared. LOL.
