And a more careful look will show you an unusual # of people w/ some sort of criminal justice training for a high quality private boarding school. Hell, I'd say it's probably a very high ratio even for a public school.

So then I ask why, that's all, I just want to know anyone's opinions on why in the world that is so. That's all. Well, that's not all, I do have other questions. But that was all the point of pointing out Bill Gray's education. And shit, it's not like I outed him, I copied and pasted right from their own marketing page.

I wonder if anyone's saved copies. Might be interesting to track changes as we point things out.

Let's see the numbers then.  Because all I see is counseling and education degrees for the vast majority.

And, the point is that you were once again throwing out misinformation to evoke an emotional reaction to parents who are seeking help for their children.  Very sad.

So very very different from lying and manipulating situations to play on parents fears. Which is exactly what you all do.

At least Ginger isnt charging 7000.00 a month for it, and isnt a sadist.

FWIW, Looks like 3 key people at HLA and RC have justice/military backgrounds.

Brian Alano
Assistant Dean of Students
Student Criminal Justice - Eastern Michigan University, Carson Newman College, North Georgia College & State University.

Bill Gray Jr.
Operations Director
B.S. Justice Administration - University of Louisville. Bill was the ?first? employee hired at HLA in 1994.

Shannon Travers
Dean of Students
B.A. Sociology/Psychology, Correctional Services Diploma - Acadia University, Nova Scotia, Canada

RIDGE CREEK
Mark Keith
Director of Operations
United States Special Operations Forces

John Tompkins
Wilderness Team Leader
Most of this training occurred within the context of distinguished career in the United States Army

Ken See
Wilderness Team Leader
After a twenty-year career as a Ranger in United States Special Operations Units, Ken retired as a master sergeant while serving as a senior mountaineering instructor in the Ranger training program.

And while we're on the subject, what are the headmasters credentials? No mention of anything relevant to working with adolescence. Found nothing but business related links on google.

those come up on a search of "justice" on your website. I'd say that's quite a lot for the size of the organization, isn't it? I think only one teacher I ever had had training in criminal justice, and that came out of his military service.

No, really, I'm just trying to get a clearer sense of the people and philosophy behind HLA. Why would you think otherwise?

... and the group leader was a clown.

Then there's this guy, who evidently has nothing to brag about, even a B.S. in criminal justice.

And what's with all the night watch and peer staff? What are their qualifications? How much contact and how much authority do they have over the kids?

who needs regular piss tests more than a former blowski who has his finger on the button?

Really? From which institution? Is it like Art Barkers honorary degree from AIF? Or Virgil Newton's Phd from Union College?

The most fundamental fact about the ideas of the political left is that they do not work. Therefore we should not be surprised to find the left concentrated in institutions where ideas do not have to work in order to survive.

I know that he has been practicing since 1975, and he worked with public school systems in Georgia and Alabama for a time also. I believe he got his degree at the univ of georgia or georgia state, and it is a legitimate degree.

Well either I am confused or you are Robert. This is your quoted sentance that I answered regarding the "prison guard" topic:

"Forgot to mention the head master that was apparently once a prison guard"

Now, if you are talking about the current headmaster, he wasn't an employee when I left. So I dont know him or his background specifically. If you are talking about the headmaster that was there for the majority of my time there (while I lived on campus), that would be Greg Lindsey, and I did know him personally, but he was not a prison guard, so, who is it that you are referring to when you say the headmaster was once a prison guard? Which headmaster are you referring to?

Also, Robert, I have NEVER been afraid of you or your questions, sorry to ruin that little pipe dream of yours

Its not a pipe dream Bullfrog its reality. Youve proven that time and again. If youd like to disprove there are literally dozens of questions that youve been to afraid to answer. So get to them.

Now as to this specific comment, well youve again shown you know not of what you speak. You claimed to be familiar with all the employees backroundd, apparently you lied when you made this statement.

Not suprising you lie all the time. Yet claim not to, along with claiming not to sin.

Can you explain this?

Until I know which headmaster you are referring to in your comment, I will have no idea whether it is I who am incorrect(not LYING), or you who are incorrect(Lying? wrong?). Please answer my question. Which headmaster was a prison guard? It wasn't Greg, who was the headmaster for most of the time I was associated with the school. Was it Rudy? Rudy was not one I cared for much so I didnt consider him a friend and didnt know much about his past other than working at CEDU. If it was Charles I already told you he wasnt at the school when I left. So, Robert, please clarify your statement.
