Cigarettes
« Reply #15 on: August 22, 2005, 04:52:00 PM »
I quit smoking about a year and a half ago...Cold turkey...I was smoking about a pack and a half to two packs a day...Got tired of waking up coughing like mad then going straight for a cigarette....It got to where I would smoke one cigarette and there wasn't enough nicotine or whatever other chemical is in the cigarettes I was craving, so I lit up a second one. I finally realized I couldn't keep on like I was going so I decided to quit. I woke up on a Monday morning, looked at the pack I had beside my bed with 3 cigigarettes in it and said to myself " NO MORE ". That same pack is still sitting on my dresser with the same 3 cigarettes in it. I've made a promise to myself if I ever smoke again I would have to smoke them first....And you know as long as they've been sitting around, they would be good and nasty.

What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.

That used to happen to me too until I started using control. I've been smoking for about 35 years now. I don't have a smokers cough, but have to clear my throat from time to time. Not often. Glad to get off Marlboro and Winston. http://www.nascigs.com

I tried Zyban, nicotine patches and gum, hard candies, and for what and why? Some quacks! I enjoy smoking and if they don't like that tough. I can put it down if I have to. It doesn't kill me to go without tobacco, I find it better than their medicines. It's my luxery.

I think that is interesting that "going with tobacco won't kill you", as you said because it is killing me as we speak. I am dying with emphysema caused from smoking. i started smoking when I was nine years old and i am now quitting cigarettes so that I can watch my two beautiful, wonderful children grow up.

That's your own fault. Sounds like you just are a substance abuser. I don't care what you do. For Heaven's sake quit then. If you don't know what to smoke or how by all means quit. Why don't you go get one of those new shots :wstupid:

Being sleepy can impair someone's ability to do thier job.  People
can sleep at home and come to the job with sleepiness still in their system. The sleepiness can still be there long after the employee has slept. When someone is found to be sleepy on the job, they can claim that they went to sleep the night before.  The only solution to this problem is to ban employees from sleeping.

Do me a favor, ok? if you can snatch the cigarettes from the hands of the whole trailor trash fam damnily execpt me I'd shut up and just put them down and not pick them up again. You see I'm out numbered and they all chain smoke. Only peace of mind I get is at night when they're alseep. Then I don't have to kill them and they can take smoke breaks in the funny farm. You'd be doing them all a service. Donna wants to go in a home. Debbie wants to go in hospital for life, Barry is criminally insane, and is hiding out in Billings, Montana. Now,this boy is a real terrorist. I've encountered him as he infiltrated me by going on the other side. I saw Debbie in Hell when I broke through the Gates of Babylon and mommy dearest Donna has mirrors and idols and crystals and has no brain ok? so please. Don't forget John Russell Addis, the militant queer mafia hit man and his father John T. Addiss.

When we talk to god, it's prayer. When god talks to us, it's schizophrenia.
