Horizon Academy is located in the south eastern desert of Nevada, surrounded by beautiful mountains, sand dunes and expansive stretches of untouched arid land. Southern Nevada is rich in old west history, and the small town atmosphere surrounding Horizon Academy provides a friendly, family-oriented environment. The entrance to historic Death Valley lies miles to the west and the spectacular glitz of Las Vegas is just beyond majestic snow-capped Mount Charleston. The temperature provides year round outdoor opportunities and the vast desert floor invites exploration of its flora and fauna.

Q: How is the family involved in the student's program? A: Each teen is assigned a family representative that is in contact with your teen thoughout the day. Weekly phone calls are made updating your teen's progress. In time, therapeutic phone calls are made for the purpose of working out family issues. Parents and teen communicate by letter as often as they like. A series of self-growth seminars that are nearly identical to the ones the teen participates in, is provided for the parents in several locations throughtout the country.
For more information about these seminars, click on the Parent Support Services button under the left menu.

WWASP written all over this one:
Jade Robinson owned Bell academy which was closed in 2003 by CA authorities. The owners had not obtained the license they needed to run the facility.
He also worked (I think the was a director) at Casa by the Sea in Mexico, which was closed by Mexican authorities for allegations of child abuse.
Like usual, they claim to be a boarding school when in reality they are a behavior modification program.
Well, if we weren't sure about it, we are now (registered to Ken Kay)
