I was in Dallas straight from Feb '90- Sept '91. Yes, I "commenced", and I was even a staff trainee. Not long after I got into aftercare...it was over. I didn't start using again...I just allowed myself to try to start getting back out into the real world. It's been so long, but the memories still mess with me. If I try to even begin to explain it to people, I find myself talking for hours about all of the details, and they still find it hard to comprehend this place! I haven't spoken with anyone from Straight in a few years. I just lost contact. So, if anyone remembers Bridget Carpenter (my dad had a host home in Mesquite...let me know!
