well granny..since you are so deadset on getting facts str8 about Leah..get facts str8 about my friends. The "two girls who ran away." Neither of them were beaten. Casie punched Hannah in the face...nothing was condoned, and Casie always looked for the chance to get her two cents in. You know those little dogs who will run up on bigger dogs thinking they are all tough? That is exactly what Casie was. Then they realize they arent once they get their crap tossed around and piss themselves..yup, thats what Casie was. Ask Leah..she will vouche on that one. Leah didnt like that girl either. All I am saying is that you need to get some things right...if you are so deadset on everytihng about Leah being right. I can already see what you are going to ask me about the other kids you mentioned, but I was there..but not there (know what I mean) so I have no room to talk about those. (not looking to argue, just stating.) Thanks.

First of all, the boys were not forced to leave Whitmore, they did it on their own.  Where were they for the two days they were in Nephi -- before they boarded the plane, train or bus?

Why did they leave Whitmore?  Boredom?  So what?

But, I don't think so.  Look at the history of kids that leave and are taken back -- one girl was forced to stay in "the room" in the same clothes for over a week -- no shower -- no bathroom without an escort -- every meal served to her was spit on.

Then there are the two girls who ran and were taken back and beaten up by another student, with the approval of Cheryl.

Then, of course, there is the story of Joey, the beating he took, and his assisted help down the stair by Cheryl.

Then there is another boy, he too was assisted down the stairs by Cheryl.

The abuse goes on and on.

IT'S TIME TO FOCUS ON WHY THESE BOYS LEFT WHITMORE, NOT HOW THEY LEFT.

DO THEIR PARENTS KNOW OF THE ABUSE CHARGES AGAINST CHERYL?  WHY WOULD A PARENT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THE SAFETY OF THEIR CHILD?  IF THE STATE FEELS THERE IS ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO BRING CHARGES, YOU WOULD THINK THERE WOULD BE A VERY GOOD POSSIBILITY THAT THE CHARGES ARE TRUE.  WHAT KIND OF PARENT TAKES THAT KIND OF GAMBLE?????????WOULD THEY NOT RATHER BE SAFE THAN SORRY?  "

Amen! Sounds to me like it's the parents, not their children, who have a lot of explaining to do.

That's exactly where the focus needs to be. They keep burning these little straw-men in the path to the real issue. WHY WOULD THEY LEAVE? Kids don't just wake up with bruises on them. I'd feel the exact same way as them if I had gotten that treatment.

First of all, my name is not "granny," but I assume you are referring to me.  Second, my information did not come from Leah, as she was not at the Whitmore when most of those incidents took place.

I agree all the way with that one.

One more thing, to granny... ask Leah how many kids she hit, how many times she humiliated others at the Whitmore? How young was one of the guys she screwed here, while she was how old? I think it was maybe 13 and 17? You know that's called statutory rape, and you know that's a crime? Poor little Leah, right... poor Leah, she never does anything wrong. The little saint.

How pathetic.

If I was treated the way a lot of people around this forum are talking about, believe me, I would've run away the first chance I had. I don't take bs, and Whitmore is no exception. If I'd been treated badly, I would've left. If I somehow hadn't been able to, I'd be telling the world right now if things of the abusive sort did go down.

I like the Whitmore. It's a pretty cool place to be.

It is not a game to say this type of thing about a girl and her family from my point of view anyway. What is the point of doing that?

Well, Miss Mouse, probably about as many times as you did.  But then neither you nor she are running a school for teenagers who have been put into your care and are now charged with abusing those very kids, now, are you?

This screwing that supposedly went on, was it a group affair?  Must have been, since you seem to know all about it.  By the way, you were at the Whitmore for what reasons????
