Petition to shut down the internet
Gee, ya sure?

There is so much in the bible against which every insinct of my being rebels, so much so that I regret the necessity which has compelled me to read it through from beginning to end. I do not think that the knowledge I have gained of its history and sources compensates me for the unpleasant details it has forced upon my attention.
--Helen Keller, American lecturer

Petition to shut down the internet

Yup:
That doesn't mean to say that there are not people who think that way.  Still...
I don't know about the site that you can see, but on the header of the one I've looked at there's a link to a Calgary psychologist.

Now... is that psychologist real?
Is that psychologist accredited in Alberta?
Or has her name just not been added to the list yet.

Also, is she connected to AARC?

Who is supervising her? (she says she is a provisional )

So many ways to query credibility.

And maybe she doesn't even know her link is connected to this site

Or maybe she does

My mother used to say
"believe half of what you see, a quarter of what you read, an almost nothing of what you read about.
That was before the internet and the trick is in knowing which half,  which quarter, etc.

I think we need to make some enquiries about Marinda Venter's credentials
