Look, while I obviously don't approve of the policies and mindset of the Yahoo list (or I'd replicate them, duh!) I don't think Don ever promised to keep those photos forever. It doesn't cost anything, so money's not the issue. But I don't know what his reasoning is. I can only say that I agree w/ the anon who said . If you don't like it, don't use it. Or, better yet, if you like it but it doesn't meet all your needs, use it and other outlets as well. If you want photo archives, use your ISP's free space and litter the planet w/ links to them. Or set up your own Yahoo group and pool them.
Do ask Don about getting copies of the ones deleted or contact w/ the providers (maybe better). If he didn't keep that,
