Haha, I thought I read the obedience bit wrong... quite effective if you ask me. I'd love to see what would happen if a couple million citizens decided it was time to fess up about pot use to uncle sam.

One time I called the "questions/comments" 800# on a pack of Camels and told them I must have been getting defective cigs since I had been smoking them for years and wasn't dead yet.  The customer service rep didn't think it was very funny.   I, on the other hand, found it hilarious.

Well, if the surveys are correct, that would mean roughly 150,000,000 people who could potentially turn themselves in. If even only 10% turned out, it would bring the DOJ the rest of the way to it's knees.

I'd do it and take my chances if I thought that even 1/10th of my fellow once upon a time tokers would do the same. The trouble is that everyone in the world, including (maybe especially) Americans, are scared shitless of the US Federal government. I mean, come on! If they can jail Tommy Chong for merely investing in a mailorder bong company....

And it's not because we lack the power to make this right. It's that we lack the will and courage to do it. We'll just sit around watching survivor and fear factor while roughly 7 million young lives are seriously complicated each year by arrests for something that around half or more of us have done and that we all know is not a crime.

We're cowards and slaves, by any definition.

It's a war, and the government declared it against its own people. They will never be able to stop all of us, not even fucking close. All you need is some seeds, dirt and light to fight this war. Grow pot, smoke pot and share pot. This is how we fight. Marijuana has been around for thousands of years, and will continue to live on long after the U.S.A. has been destroyed or dissolved.

Right you are!  Weed is one of our primary weapons against governmental stupidity.  Y'know, in a certain sense, it's good that it is illegal, because once you smoke, you see the foolishness of it's criminal status, and begin to question other laws and forms of authority.  Grow it, smoke it, share it.....words to live by! :smokin:

I don't think it's the whole government. Not even cloes. I think it's a small cadre of well organized, carefully camouflaged, incredibly well funded activists. And we happen to know more than the av-er-age bear about a couple of them.

Ask the rest to recognize that and keep on asking in whatever ways you see fit. My best bet is that the rank-n-file leos will be the first and most visible solid dissent from within what we think of as government.
