To the anon poster who thinks the media is full of crap and that Joyce Harris is to blame for the so called "harrassment".  
Just how did you do your research? Did it include asking Cheryl and Mark?? and did they give you their side of the story as they so often do? or maybe they just told you part of it.  Maybe you should talk to the Fire Marshall yourself.  The paper said the Fire Marshall said the Sudweeks have been very cooperative, not that he was impressed with the Sudweeks cooperative behavior.

As for your Joyce Harris bashing- KNOW PARENT that it IS NOT just Joyce Harris doing the doing- there are numbers here.  And none of us know one another. Take it from someone who was there long before any of this current crap started--the Sudweeks are devious, abusive, SCAM artist who can and will look you straight in the eye and lie  lie lie.  All they care about is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Because of Joyces harrassing. they sent the state fire marshall down to check it out. the violations were extention cords. one fire alarm had dead batteries. one of the exits had boxes in front of it. they needed a new cover for one of the outlets and because of a new law in march of this year, they were required to put in a sprinkler system which by the way has been done. They were also told to put in another staircase out the back. the fire marshall said he was impressed with the Sudweeks cooperative behavior. they have never been out of compliance. but because of new law they had to change some things. they went right to work to put these things in. They were givin until the end of may to comply but they will be done this week. Just like everything else i have delt with them, they always make things right. This is what they are doing with my daughter. they are good people. as far as fire watch goes. f.y.i. there are four adults who stay with the kids 24/7 mark and cheryl stay up with this firewatch from 10/6 when the kids get up. how dare you try to make it look any different than it really is. it is time for this nonsense to stop. maybe the letters should start expressing grattitude. This negative stuff will get nobody nowhere. "

Personally,I don't like what I read about confirmed allegations of abuse at this program and for the life of me, can't understand why any parent with a child in this program would feel obligated to defend either the program or it's owners and operators.

Does sound mighty weird doesn't it. And this is not "lunatic parent yakking." This is the authorites quoted in a newspaper article. Is weird isn't it? No ONE but EIGHT counts of abuse neglect. Now that oughta get some parent's attention you'd think!

Then there are just day-to-day expectations like cleaniless--NOT spiting on people, having toliets that work, adequate food, hygiene needs, adequate required sleep.....YOUR CHILD WON'T LEARN ANY OF THIS AT WHITMORE!
